So I got my parts coming in, they are the Eibach Pro Kit with the OME Dakar HD leaf packs. I’m still debating if I will need a diff kit. What is your guy’s take on doing it? I’ve been reading and have received mix signals about it

Woo! The excitement is growing, got my appt set up with @Timbo's Customs and I'm ready to get this thing going, just gotta get my appt set up for an alignment the following Monday or so.

I'm really hoping this doesn't push me down the rabbit hole and all I see is small tires, lol. Definitely gonna get pics posted when the time comes, just a little bit longer.

Lookin' suhweeeet! Did you install the UCAs? If so, how was it? They are probably next on my list of things to do...

Me and a bud did, it wasnt too bad at all. We did have to bend some inner sheet metal to get old main UCA bolts out.

I’m assuming you didn’t really need the UCA’s though. Or are those 33’s? Your just on 1st clip?

May not of needed em. But, bought, paid for, and installed now ! And look sweet and perform sweet. Much beefier than the stock ones. 265 75 16 MTs. First clip. May be going to second clip here soon. I have a beefy steel skid. May run 33s eventually, but im a 2.7 5speed daily driver on stock gears still :muscleflexing:

haha yeah I just have a standard pro skid. I didn’t think I’d need the second clip. I kind of want it, but pulling them out, recompressing is a pita. Unless there’s a quicker way not removing them??

I got my ECGS bushing installed last night and it eliminated my vibes. That put me in a good mood, so I celebrated with some cold brews and some pics. Figured I’d post a few for anyone researching this Eibach kit.

Are many people having to replace the ecgs bearing? Just seems odd that alot of people are not having issues. It has to be something different in the setups?

its okay. i left the overload spring in. It rides fine. I would go full new leafpack if you can. I may upgrade to full new pack eventually. But ive thrown enough $$ at my truck lately, time to use it and see what it will do in the trails now.

It’s kind of a hit or miss thing. Some people get the vibration and others don’t. I wouldn’t let the possibility of having to replace the factory needle bearing scare you. I just replaced mine and it’s not that big of a deal. There are numerous videos online detailing the procedure. I was even able to borrow the needle bearing removal tool from a fellow member here. That saved me even more money.
