Hah. Yes. CMC with -12 and a little trimming of the front bumper. And front mud guards removed. But I’m very happy I did. I debated for a LONG time between 265/75 and 285’s and I have zero regrets. I have Falken Wildpeaks and as far as I am aware, they only come in load range E. They are definitely a bit stiffer than what I had in the past, but nothing that I lose sleep over. My father had an ‘89 SR5 and I can always remember him telling my mom “it rides like a truck should” whenever she would say it was “bumpy”. That’s the best way I can describe it. It rides like a truck

81D64AC3-DEF8-470F-B6F2-D35CB7A0092F.jpgEibach kit installed today with a single AAL in the rear. Seems like the front sits a tad higher than the rear but TBH I like the look. Running the TRD Pro wheels with BFG A/T 285/70/17, about time I gave the ole girl an upgrade

I believe that’s the first notch, had it done at a local shop. UCA are stock and don’t need to be changed out, a simple alignment and it drives perfect.

So would first notch be the lowest setting or the highest? As far as lift goes...

It’s the lowest, the instructions say as long as you don’t have extra weight in the front, it’s suggested to keep on the first notch.

Installed the Eibach stage 1 with DirtKing UCA and Wheelers add a leaf kit. I had a spacer lift on before, this sits higher and is more planted on the road. Gonna have an alignment done tomorrow.

What size tires are you running? Any chance of a full truck picture?

So then I guess the great debate would be if doing the Eibach kit on the 2nd notch, would you need or suggest running new upper control arms?
I want to run SPC's do to how strong and many ways they can be set, but I also really like the JBA's...

Forgot to ask, did you do a CMC or are you rubbing?

I'm on the second notch. No CMC yet I was hitting before this lift was installed. Right now just minor rubbing on the plastic wheel well in the front at sharp turns. I will do some trimming soon and hopefully have the CMC done once I can find someone local to help me out.

    I appreciate the info.
I'm thinking about picking up this kit because right now I'm running stock OR suspension with a 3" front spacer and I'm not rubbing anywhere. I am running 285/75/16's and trying to avoid being forced to buy tires after I install the Eibach kit. I basically just want to make sure if I get the kit and new upper control arms that I wont have any issues with the current tire and wheel set up.

I had the same setup you have now. I too didn't have any rubbing but would hit the cab mount on occasion if I had more than one person in the truck with me on steep turns. So far I am not having this issue with the Eibach stage 1, just minor rubbing on the plastic wheel well.

@dewelrTX I'm running a spacer lift now and looking at the same Eibach 1 + UCA + AAL upgrade can you give me a ball park on what that cost you total parts + install?

The Eibach stage 1 and multi add a leaf set was $800 and I had them assemble the fronts for me. The UCA was like $530 and with the help of my brother in law we did the install ourselves.
