So sorry for the delay @THE_KiRRAx I have have been neglecting my alerts, sorry. The height specification for the 3-leaf are based on the removal of the overload. Meaning that once you remove it you will see AROUND 1.5" of lift +/- after settling on a stock weight truck. We will be coming out with a small additon to the aal pack which can raise the rear end a 1/2" more so people can net a little more height but not run the overload.

I am very glad the install went well and that you are pleased with the product.

Sorry for the delay alerts don't go to my inbox so they can get overlooked from time to time. I think @iamjase already answered this but yes our 3-leafs are still a couple of weeks out :)

Sounds pretty darn expensive to me for that set up installed. I would look elsewhere.

That seems high to me. Honestly its not that hard to install yourself if your up to it.

I installed mine in my garage by myself in about 6 hours. Depends on your comfort level whether you want to pay them $800 labor. Not sure if your quote includes alignment, but I obviously did not do that myself.

The quote included 50$ shipping for the kit and $100 for the alignment. 5 hours of labor at $110/hour. I live south of Birmingham, AL and there isn't a ton of places that do this sort of thing. I'll ask around and see who else I can find.

I'm pretty comfortable with doing it myself, but I don't own a jack or any stands. I've watched the videos that were posted on this thread(currently on page 77 reading through this) and it doesn't seem like it would be terribly difficult.

Find another Taco owner in the area maybe who has the tools needed and is willing to help?

    Looking for suggestions...
For a reference point. I called Eibach and they said it is $400 to install including alignment. I know that doesn't help much because they are in Corona California, but that is too much.

    That seems average to me.
I'm having a local customs shop do it just because of the fact that they warranty their work. I could do it and save a few hundred dollars but if something were to get messed up, it would.be on them.
I'm paying $390 to have them install the kit and another $250 add my new upper control arms while their in there. This includes an alignment and warranty too.

That's correct on price for just our lift kit, but he's got a lot of peripherals like diff-drop, leaf spacers etc. It would likely be a couple extra hours (we don't install non-eibach products), but still much less than what he was quoted.

It included a diff drop but I wasn’t going to do that. That kit just had a 1” block in the rear. I’m probably gonna ditch that kit and get an AAL instead of the block.

Good call. I would say 5 hours max on install, ESPECIALLY considering the fronts are already assembled with top-hats. Most of the time and hassle will all be spent on the AAL install.

I got an email from Wheelers and it looks like they are expecting Eibach deliveries to their shop early next week.
