At far as I recall reading, the kits do not come with the sway bar relocation hardware anymore. The front shocks and springs were redesigned to have more clearance so they wouldn't hit the sway bar. That being said, that's only for the more recently produced kits. If you happen to get ahold of the old style kit it will most likely include the hardware (mine did).

I just talk to Tanner at Eibach and he told me that they did stop sending the kit without the relocation kit but everyone was complaining that they wanted it. So they are Now including it again In the kit. He said you can use it or not

That's definitely great news. The old saying still stands, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Thanks for the update!

Got mine done today. 3.5 hours total front and back.
1st notch on the front. Lean spacer on driver side. 1"block in the back. Sway bar was not relocated.
Dead on 2 inches in the front on 1st notch.

Very satisfied with quantity of components and ride.

I had Toyota install everything...eibach pro kit, rear 3-leaf AAL, SCS wheels, Yokohama geolander tires, and they swapped the TPMS sensors and did the alignment...all parts plus install was 3200

Followed this thread for weeks before I purchased the kit. Put the kit on a few months back. No complaints.

2nd clip, SPC UCA's, Dobinson rear leaf pack.

Still looking at this kit...still seems like the best value compared to an OME or Dobinsons.

@jlemmond looks good! how much rake do you have with only the 1” block in the rear? Stock tire size?

I also thought I saw that the rear shocks were only good for up to 1” lift. Anyone having issues with a 1.5” rear lift? Does Eibach think there is an issue going above 1” lift in the rear?

I have been debating between a 1 or 1.5 inch block or going with HS 1.5 AAL (on first clip). I want some rake so that I don’t go nose high with a little bit of gear in the bed. I’m going to keep my stock wheels but I have 265/75 tires so I think it will still look okay at the first clip.

I installed mine (1st clip) with 1" blocks and ended up dead level. I then added 3° axle shims which added about 1/4" rake.

YMMV but, I went with the first clip and the HS 1.5" AAL in the rear (overload removed per instructions), the truck sits perfectly level all around with absolutely no rake on an empty bed. Again, you may have different results, this is just what happened with my lift.

We've updated our measurements to 1.5" on many applications so you will have no problems on a 1.5" lift. I personally run / ran 1.75" ICON RXT's on my kit with no top-out or ride quality concerns.

Thanks for the feedback - @Edubreuil did you have driveline vibes? I was looking at doing the cv axle bushing at the same time and then seeing if I have any vibrations. I would try the carrier bearing drop and/or an axle shim if I did.

Thanks for the confirmation @heel_touge I plan to run some light trails with this kit and would hate to damage the rear shocks or have a premature failure due to over extension.

What’s the best way to protect these shocks/springs from corrosion (I live in New England, so lots of salt and sand in the winter)? Should I treat them with fluid film periodically?

These tubes are zinc coated and tested for over 500 hours in our salt-spray tester, but as an Ohio native I know how harsh it can be over there. We haven't tested specific fluid films on the coating, so I can't make a specific recommendation, but we did find that keeping them clean after a snow/weather storm (you know, right after the slush starts to melt and things begin to dry up) considerably extends the life of the coating.

I've been in contact with Eibach for the last month or so trying to order the kit. Everytime I call I get told we're waiting on another part but have everything else. First it was the rear shocks, then I called back and was told "good news is we have the rear shocks, bad news is now we're waiting on clips for the front shocks. Call back on Monday" called back, was told they have them and now their waiting on hardware try back Friday. Tried back today and now its hardware for the rear that their missing and was told to try back this Friday.

Needless to say I'm getting a little frustrated with the run around and am thinking about going with a different suspension.
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up since dealers are saying their on their way...

I can add some clarity to this...

Are you speaking with the same person every time? As we do not have a full team back at this time, we're all hands on deck managing phones. That means there may be some team members who can provide more details than others. That being said, it's possible that a top-level part may not be in stock due to a missing component. It's up to the team member to provide how much detail you get on why.

You're correct, some dealers ARE saying that they are on the way. We have back orders on this kit so as soon as our last round of inventory hit stock, we allocated everything we had to open orders. First come-first serve. I spoke with our COO this morning in regards to moving the rear shocks forward to get these kits back on the shelf and he said we will have the rear shocks ready by end-of this month rather than August.

In the world of manufacturing and supply chain you often leave some parts to the professionals of their filed (for example the factory Toyota bushings we use on the front shocks!). When, lets say...a global pandemic rolls around, the supply chain is disrupted. Little bits and pieces to the big puzzle can throw off due dates. We manufacture these shocks from RAW steel tubes to finished product here at our facility in SoCal, but there are components like nuts, clips, hardware that we source from other manufacturers.

I am not making excuses here. Our due date / scheduling system has room for optimizing (which we are now very focused on) BUT I want to help bring some clarity and comfort to those who have been waiting very patiently for their products. THANK YOU to everyone who's been on board. I'm happy to help wherever I can, so feel free to reach out. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please don't beat up your vendors about it. They are the messengers and looking out for your best interest as well. We all want to provide a smooth and excellent experience for our customers.

I talked to Ryan at Eibach and he indicated it can handle more than 1". I can't remember his logic but give them a call and they will be happy to explain and put your mind at ease.
