Add a 1/4” spacer to the driver side for the good ole Taco Lean

Some leaf packs are side specific to account for taco lean. If this is the case with what you ordered, you won't need a spacer.

As far as axle shims, diff drop, or carrier bearing drop, various people have had varying levels of success with different methods. Seems to be almost truck specific.

If you off road, skip the diff drop.

 

Forgot to mention I will not be taking the truck off roading.

I have found little information on the diff. drop actually correcting cv angle. Also read you should do a driveshaft carrier drop as well.

I may just do 1/4” lean spacer, 2” AAL and ECGS bushing and see what else I need after the install.

 

The idea of those various carrier bearing and diff drops is to correct angles and drive line and CV. You can also get extended travel CVs from O'Reilly's for example which with a 2-in lift those are more than adequate. If you're not off-roading, diff drops should be fine.

For you guys that got aftermarket UCA's for this lift, did it make a huge difference? I know the stock UCAs are fine but Would the upgrade be worth it in the long-run? I got the lift and an icon AAL and am trying to decide to get UCAs.

 

Aftermarket UCA comes more in handy when trying to fit aftermarket wheels as there's more room for caster adjustment. It would be worth it if you decide to get a more aggressive offset set of wheels down the road so you can massage more caster to help with clearance, although there's a bunch of guys running +0mm or even -10mm offset wheels on stock UCA.

I did, however, upgrade my UCA because there was a GB on the ones I wanted.

I'm not sure of the exact specs of those wheels but I'm sure there's plenty of guys running those same wheels w/ stock UCAs. Tire size plays a part in overall fitment too

does it matter what notch it is set too? for example if they were set too the 2nd notch would I need UCAs

 

I'm not certain but you technically don't need UCAs even for the first notch. I was running my stock UCAs on the bottom notch w/ stock OR wheels just fine

 

Anything at 2.5 inches or lower, the stock UCAs can handle. However, they have no caster adjustment. As stated above, if you're looking for more agressively sized wheels and tires, aftermarket UCAs are a must.

 

Anyone have any idea when these will be back in stock, I have been looking everywhere and can't find them in stock.

 

They told me last week that they would be receiving this week from manufacturing then shipping them to distribution, and then on to fulfilling orders already placed, like mine from Dec 4th. Hope that helps.

 

I ordered mine from poly performance a few days ago. Received the email they were on back order. I called and they said 3 weeks.

If you’re paying full price, you can get them on eBay. I would assume they are in-stock if they are listed.
