Got my set up dialed in today.... first notch in the front and Ironman4x4 constant load rear springs in the rear as I carry 500-600 pounds in the rear... retains the factory rake. I'm on 265/65/17 currently but am looking at either 255/75/17 as there are tons of Jeep take offs around here or 275/70/17sIMG_0303.jpg

I would drop down to the 1st notch then get the alignment done

It will settle down a little bit but probably not enough

Finally got the eibach pro lift kit at the 2nd notch & HS 1.5” AAL.:taco:

Any advice, tips, or tricks before I install? I saw a comment months back giving some advice, but for the life of me could not find it again.

I did a block in the back but you’ll probably find the parking brake line bracket won’t go back on. I removed the brackets located at the middle of the frame. That gave me enough slack. I also asked eibach about sway bar relocate. They said the shock has been redesigned so it’s no longer required. You can email them to verify. Or do it anyway.

there’s so many helpful hints throughout this whole thread they are tough to find, I would recommend skimming through again and watching some YouTube videos or searching the google

When I installed my eibach I lifted it 2” front 1.5” rear. So it’s still a little over 1” higher in back. I would think if you did an AAL you would be level when loaded.

20210501_203247.jpg My Eibach lift 20210504_190036.jpg set at 1st notch and aal 2" rear.
295/70/17 with -12 offset for that butch look. Those are ridgid knock off from aliliba
and actually work flawlessly. I did the lift install, took a weekend. Still needs a alignment. And yes tires rub!

Did you need the CMC? I’m running the same type of setup but with 285/65/18, was curious if the extra ~0.5” thickness would contact the cab mount or uca at all.

No cmc, but I did some grinding and it still rub but not as bad before. Since I have it not aligned, maybe maxing the caster will clear it.
I have no rubbing with the uca as off now.

Did you replace the UCAs by chance? Mine setup is almost identical to yours, and with the stock UCAs they weren't able to fully dial in the camber. It was around 6 when I came in, they tried to dial it to a 1 but were only able to get it to a 3. Still night and day difference though in ride quality. Pre alignment it felt like the front wheels were fighting for control.

Stock uca, it tracks straight and only issue is when driving over bumpy road steering is squiggly. I have over 1000 miles still no alignment.

You must have paid attention to your alignment when reassembling everything. Mine drove like garbage for the two days prior to getting in for an alignment lol

Posting this question in here as this Eibach thread has more traffic than the 2.0 coilover thread.

I've had my 2.0 coilovers installed for 2 months or so now. They ride great.

Unfortunately they make some creaking over slow speed bumps, such as pulling into driveways, speed bumps, etc. Doesn't seem to be normal, but everything is torqued to spec. Really just sounds like noise from the spring on the perch.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

So I have read through a huge portion of this thread and still go back and forth on people's choices.

In summary: 2nd notch on Eibach fronts is what I would shoot for...but what do you with the rear is the question... 1.5" or 2"?

I have seen people go with either or. I would prefer a slight to no rake, but definitely no bro lean. No heavy regular load. Tow from time to time on weekends.

If 1.5", it seems as though Icon AAL progressive is preferred.
If 2.0", it seems like a lot went with Wulf/Toytec. How's the ride on the single leaf AAL? If not, would you go with a RXT//Expedition series full pack?

    TIA

You'll get a level ride with the 1.5", with the 2" it'll be stiffer ride with some rake.

I went with the Wolf 2” in rear and 2nd notch in the front w/ lean spacer. When I got truck back I was dead level front and back. I immediately went on a 6,996 mile road trip out west and I’m now a 1/4 lower in the rear. Will prob add a small block in the rear until I can put in an RXT pack.

That’s disappointing to hear. I went with the torch AAL, which I’m sure is the same exact thing with different stickers.

So did you decide not to lower to first notch after all? I read that at first you didn’t like the ride on second.

My dumbass installed the collars upside down, which not only posed a safety issue, but also lifted the truck an additional 1-1.5” in front causing the camber to be off and springs to be too compressed. I flipped them yesterday and kept the same second notch setup. Haven’t had it realigned yet but it rides a million times better. Near stock feel.

Just put on 285s and love them. If I’m full lock I’ll rub up front but a little cutting will fix that.

I sit dead level but the slope makes it look off.
