I get mine installed tomorrow! Just hate having to wait for my wheels to get to Hawaii. My truck is going to look like it skipped leg day.

What are your wheel specs? UCA's? Where did you have to trim ?

That would be dangerous for me, I’ve dropped almost $10k there on my truck and 4Runner.

After owning my Eibach lift for a year, I have moved on to another setup. Something I noticed throughout ownership was the lack of small bump compliance. Driving over a manhole cover or crack in the road I could feel it. These coilovers have a 742 lb. spring rate - which is quite high (Fox and King come stock with 600 lb.). I could have remedied with adding weight/armor to front of vehicle but that is more of a bandaid fix to combat the stiff springs. I was on second notch like many others on this thread. Going over a rolling bump or cornering was fine (low speed movements), but sudden impacts were harsh (like rocks on a forest service road or pothole on pavement).

I have followed this thread for a year plus and wanted to give my long-term review of the setup. I do agree that it rides "firmer than stock OR suspension", but I do believe that small bumps will be harsh. Ultimately, I want to enjoy the suspension working while on a dirt road instead of being rattled, so would only recommend second notch if you truly do have a bumper.

These come with trade-offs, if you want to pay more money you'll get much better shocks. For the price you paid for these Eibach shocks, there is nothing truly better, all others in the price range will ride similar or worse. And do not go to the 2nd or 3rd notch unless you have added weight...just like Eibach tells you.

Fair enough, I can agree with that. A $600 lift will ride as such. I saw many others (and still see many others) going to second notch on stock trucks so believed that it would ride well. But adding that preload to a coil that is already 742 lb. is really pushing it.. as I learned first hand.

Thank you! It’ll be much better once the wheels/tires and bed rack get here.
