Do you have a carrier bearing drop? Just lifted my rear 2” (was levelling with 5100s at stock height before). As soon as I did that, had the vibes at takeoff. Read around here that’s common with a 2-piece driveshaft. Putting my CB drop kit in when it isn’t 5*F.

Hey guys, just an update for you all. Installed the cb drop yesterday. It has helped with the take off vibration which are now pretty much gone. However, the braking vibrations still persist. Back to the drawing board. Going to measure my drive shaft angles soon to see what size shims will be needed for my rear axle or if a diff drop kit is needed.

Picked up my 22 Off-Road a few weeks ago then had my lift installed 2 weeks ago and my wheels and tires just last week. I love the way it looks but I am going back and forth on how it feels to drive right now. I previously had a 17 Tacoma with Bilstein 5100's and a 1" block lift in the back with the same wheel and tire combo and loved that and how sturdy it was. Was hoping for an even better ride this time but don't have that just yet. The tech's could not get my alignment specs where I wanted and it's looking like I may need to go the UCA route to achieve that even though my lift was under 2". The ride is just super bouncy especially on the highway.

1/4" Spacer for Taco lean from HS Offroad
    1.5" AAL from HS Offroad
    SCS F5 Bronze 17x8.5 -10 Offset Wheels

Looks clean though. What alignment specs were you looking for?

I’m definitely happy with the way it turned out but I was hoping to get a bit more caster, the highest he could get was 1.1 and 1.5

Is the back or the front bouncy?

Ah got it. I have the exact same setup as you except I have 265/75/16 tires. Was able to get caster 1.9 on both

It is all around, both front and back. I had expected the rear to be a bit bouncy bc of the AAL but not the front that’s the part that bothers me and is tough to ignore.

Update: vibrations are all gone! I figured out that when I installed the AAL we flipped the OEM shims in the wrong direction. Was able to flip them back around and that solved everything. So anyone else that has vibrations, ensure to check that the OEM leaf shims are in the correct orientation = thick part towards the rear.

I’m wondering if it’s because I have the 1/4”’ spacer plate on the left side for the lean, that’s the only thing that is different from the other side

I’ve got the victory bumper & winch on 2nd notch. Had the eibachs a year now on 265 70 17’s and considering going to 1st notch to allow more down travel.

Have to do anything other that shocks and struts? After alignment I’m getting noise like something’s hitting.

Getting my lift installed next week. But debating if I should have then installed at 2nd notch or third notch(highest) setting. Anybody running the highest notch to yield the 2.75" front lift. Any issues or stick to the 2nd notch?
