I did yesterday and spoke to a tech. He said they don’t test anything over 1.5 in the rear and wouldn’t recommend doing so

that’s why I was bringing it up here since I saw so many people doing more than 1.5

I’ve been obsessively reading the past few weeks. A friend told me I’ve spent more time on a 2in lift decision than he’s ever seen lol!

    here’s what I was thinking

    spc ucas
    Eibach 2nd notch
Wheelers 2in aal OR med dakars
Read bilsteins with extended brake lines

    OR

    eibach first notch
    Ucas
    1.5 rear aal

    I can’t decide

I’m just getting into off roading

I know I don’t want to go too wild off road but I do want to be able to push it some. And obviously camp etc

Right now I’ve got 265-75-16 ridge grapplers with 16x8 -25 Fn five stars coming
(Heard back and forth between sl and e) sl should be ok right?

this is my daily driver as well. But I do feel limited with tire choice with 16s. But figured since my tires were new I’d roll with it for now

I did the same thing. In the end, you just take the leap! :) I’m still on the same 265 70 17s. Bought SPCs but have yet to put them on. I did remove the front sway bar recently and feel the eibachs plus Dakar’s (with sway bar) are sufficiently stable on windy roads, freeways, normal driving. Put on 10,000m since the lift. Really like how it handles and can carry weight. Know this won’t be your last purchase or decision. But I will advise you think seriously about what you will actually do with your truck and not obsess about what others have done. Good luck with your truck!

That sounds about right. Haven’t checked it since I did it, but, yes there’s a little rake.

Recovery gear, compressor, car seats in the back, bed bars with skybox, backpacks, random kid stuff. Fire extinguisher, shovel. Had it fulll with camping gear and the falimy and it still had a rake. It leveled out with 750lbs of flooring.

I am, but my rake measurement is irrelevant unless you're adding about 400 pounds to your bed. The Eibach rear shock collapsed to extended measurements are within 1/8" to the OME Nitrochargers.

What’s your rake like with and without the weight?

i plan on adding weight in the back, slowly but surely

IDK, most of the weight was added before the Dakars. With no added weight the heavies would ride rough. I've also got Firestone airbags so my rake is somewhat adjustable.

    Eibach stage 1 kit @ 2nd clip
    1/4 Drivers spacer for lean
    Wheelers 2” AAL
    Enkei Rpt1 16x8 0 offset
    BFG Ko2 285/75/16

No trimming and rarely rubs. It’s been almost 2 weeks since I installed the lift. I did not put the overload back in with the 2” AAL. I’m sitting slightly higher in the front and I was hoping to have a slight amount of rake. I’ll probably try to put the overloads back in but I’m worried it might not be enough.

That’s been my concern. It seems like everyone with the 2in aal and OL in gets about a half in of rake

You'd probably get a better result moving down to the first clip on the front, unless you're planning on adding weight to the front soonish.
