I do like the height I got in the front. I still have the eibach 1” rear blocks from my first initial order. I wanted to get the wheelers AAL cause I figured it would be better than blocks.

Block is better than AAL, up to 1½", beyond that or with more weight capacity then leaf packs, like the Icon RXT or OME. AAL are great at first but sag overtime.

Nice! Ordered the same truck, should have it in a week or two. Do you have any pictures from the front?

Lee, hope your getting close to a decision. Lots of information and answered questions. The Eibachs really don't settle that much like the OME springs, because of the higher spring rate, do so what ever you get in the front it will pretty much stay there. You really should consider those adjustable coilovers someone suggested in another thread. For only $200 more it would allow you to set up your front end the way you want it relative to your rear lift.

The block lift gives a rougher ride than a progressive 3 add a leaf. I had blocks and truck rear rode like dump truck.

How would the 1" block change the ride quality of suspension?

I installed the eibach lift kit for the trd pro coilovers and 1" block. I also added the black sumosprings and im not happy with my ride feel.

Before the install my truck felt like i was driving on pillows now i feel all the bumps and vibrations. Trying to determine if its the block, tire, or sumosprings. I am running the black sumosprings with a top camper.

Then you had other issues. I have the Pro-Truck Stage 2 kit installed and 1 inch blocks in the rear. The ride in the back has improved over the factory TRD Sport shocks.

Also, you will not find a better riding spring than the factory spring. All others, including AAL will ride firmer.

A block does not change the spring rate!

In terms of modifications, did you do everything all at once or in pieces?

What were you running before for shocks?

How much does your topper weigh?

all at once, top cap (smartcap) weights 200lbs,
i was running just the trd pro coils and shocks with stock tires. I can see the frame rides on the sumosprings, maybe i need the blue ones?

    current is now
1" eibach block in the rear,
    black sumosprings
    33" goodyear workhorse tires
    front eibach pro lift

That and the black Sumo Springs IMO. Aren't the black ones for like 1000 extra pounds?

I think that's a fair statement. I installed the Eibach stage one set on first clip in front and 1.5" block in back. Which lifted it 1.75 in front and a little over 1.5 in back. The rake was 1"-1.25" before and 1"-1.25" after. So if you go with the second notch in front I would try for a solid 2"+ in back. Do that then see where you end up. I bet it's good.

Tire pressure would be a huge help. I bet you notice a difference from that.

You mention TRD Pro Coils and shocks, so factory Fox shocks? If that is the case, no wonder you notice a difference, they are progressive while Eibach are digressive. That will make a huge difference. If this is wrong, and you had TRD Off-Road prior, then the difference in valving should not be to significant.

Now Sumosprings, I had to look up. They use the Tacoma as an example in describing the difference in density, stating yellow is better for the Tacoma, while black is more for RV or heavy loads and yellow is for Commercial applications.

You might want to look at those too.
