I ordered from tacomabeast. Not assembled. You just need some spring compressors that’s all. I got wheelers off-road 2”AAL with super bumps, u-bolt flip kit and a spacer for the taco lean. Also adding ECGS Bushing while everything is apart.

I’ve got a dumb question. How big are the boxes and how heavy are they? Shipping to Alaska is exorbitantly expensive, but we’re planning a trip to see family in February and I’m trying to figure out if I can fly back with the set as checked baggage.

Clocked in at 42.8 and another at 45 even. So we’ll call it 43.9

So one box is 42.8 and the other is 45? Sweet!

My pro lift kit I got was in one box. Not sure what the other user had in his boxes. My one box was about 40lbs just weighed it twice and came with two diff numbers (why I do not know) so I just avg the two.

Sorry if I confused you guys...I pieced my kit together separately since I didn't need rear shocks. I have the front coils and two front shocks.

Got a quick install question. Just got my kit yesterday and also purchased KYB top mounts. The front coil overs come with new upper and lower bushings for the top. The KYB top “hats” have a rubber bushing mounted on the underside. Do I still use the bushing under the strut mount, effectively stacking 2 bushings under the mount? This is a question I wouldn’t have to ask if I was disassembling my stock setup.

Just answered my own question. I had a minute to test fit the parts and there's not enough room for the double bushings under the hat plus in my former life as a tech I had never seen two rubber bushings stacked like that. Looks to be a busy weekend.

How's the quality of the KYB shock mounts? Can you take a couple of pics?

Can anyone with the KYB shock mounts take some pics of the kit? Much appreciated.

KYB is an OE parts supplier so the the quality of their stuff is always on par with factory parts. I’ve replaced untold numbers of factory struts and shocks on Asian cars that had KYB stamped into them.

Even if they do supply Toyota or other manufacturers does that mean it's the same part?
For instance the studs and nuts on the oem mount are black oxidized and the nuts are beefier. Does it make a difference? I honestly don't know.

Are you guys planning on using the rubber bushings supplied with the KYB kit or the Eibach kit?

The lower bushing, underside of the top mount,is attached to it and I’m using the top bushing from the Eibach kit. Really splitting hairs but the bushings from Eibach appear to be poly and the KYBs appear to be rubber but they should both work well.

Mostly stock. 265/75 GoodYear Duratracs, TRD Pro Skid plate, Shrockworks Sliders/steps, bed mat, some interior storage accessories, cell phone mount, and blacking out wheels and emblems
Looks like the clip that holds the lower spring perch at whatever lift height you want.
