That looks good man! What size tire is that? I was thinking next year I might do this lift. I run a 265/75 on a stock wheel

So now what, should i pass on Eibach's because of the sway bar issue? In need something turn key and don't really want to deal with this BS. Should I go Bilstein 6112 or Dobinsons??

I took off my sway bar today and drove it around my neighborhood and the freeway this evening, and I must say the steering is a bit squirrely and I can definitely feel the difference when jerking the wheel back and forth but damn the ride feels so good without it. I'm so conflicted now but I'm pretty sure I'm going sway bar delete.
To answer your question, if you have the funds go all out and do ADS, Fox, Kings, etc. I'm sure the 6112/5160 Billies are fantastic too. Get the best your budget can handle now.
Personally without the sway bar, I'm really liking the ride now.

Curious on the sway bar relocate kit. Is Eibachs different than all the others on the market? Seems like if truly a problem just spend the 30-40 bucks and buy a different kit. I have the Eibach lift just waiting for me to have some time and thought, since I have not put the sway bar relocate in yet, I might take those blocks to a local shop and measure them against what else is available out there. Basically wondering if this is an Eibach issue or common across a lot of manufacturers

I'm on the first notch and am running the relocation kit on my 3rd gen. The swaybar is nowhere near touching anything or making any noises.

Is it really necessary to relocate kit even on the first notch?

I appreciate it. They’re 265/75’s. Wouldn’t mind upgrading to a 285, but that’ll have to wait. These are only 9 months old. Did the rear today. More of a pain in the a$$ than the front.

Wow that looks really good! Best part is it doesn’t make the 265 look small if you don’t mind me asking what settings did you use in front and is that a 1.5 Add a Leaf in the back? I’m sold on this looks great

The front is on the lowest setting. I used a 2” add a leaf in the back.

Agreed, his is sitting very nice and his 265/70s don’t look dwarfed. Hoping mine will sit the same. Some of the front ends look way higher than 2” and some don’t on the first setting.

I’m pretty sure this kit looks best on DCSB. Not saying the long beds are bad at all but I think it looks best with the short beds.

This might be something from the factory. They could have big bar tolerances. It's a really bizarre situation, as some people touch and some are not even close. Nothing on our end has changed. All these parts get triple checked lot to lot as part of our QS standards.

I’m going on 2 years and 35k on the Eibachs... Im on the lowest setting and never had an issue with the sway bar or anything for that matter. This has been a far superior kit to the OME’s I had on a previous Tacoma. With all the stuff I’ve added I haven’t had it settle much and handles the extra weight with ease.

Any chance Eibach has compared one that fits "correctly" to one that touches? Place them side by side to see if there are any issues?

I purchased a kit a few weeks ago but its sitting in my garage. Don't want to get into any issues with installation until there is a fix or solution.

Is the solution if hitting to run the relocation kit? Wheelers tells me this hitting is not a big problem on the bottom notch and that the relocation brackets are a quick and easy solution (Eibach kits now include this from what I understand?) Its making me rethink this kit and going with the Bil 6112.

Not sure if this is still true but I've heard the Sport sway bar is thicker than the Off Road one. Maybe the difference here is Sport vs Off road? We might need a poll.

This is what I was wondering as well. Is it mostly Sports that are rubbing with their larger sway bar?
