Was looking into Eibach pro lift kit specifically
Eibach E80-82-007-01-22. I've seen them on 3rd gens but not much on 2nd gens. Can anyone post some pictures?

    Thanks

Thanks. I've look to that thread already but didn't see much. Was wondering if there were more people who had the same lift.

I'm in the middle of installing an Eibach Pro lift kit on my second gen. Waiting on replacement hardware, which is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I hope to have it complete in the next 48 hours. I'll post some pics.

UPDATE for anyone thinking about going through the same route since not many have these on their 2nd gen.

Here's an update on Eibach Pro Lift Kit. Been on for 2 weeks now and rides a lot better than my previous set up of 3rd gen suspension.

Front is set on the first clip 2.5in lift and rear I went with Wulf aal and gave a little over 2.0in lift with overload on.

Previous setup was 3rd gen suspension with a headstrong 1/4 front spacer and toytec 0.5 flat shim. So it was 1.5in front and 1in rear.

Here's a before and after pic

looks great. I'd like to hear more about the ride difference from the 3rd gen suspension to the Eibach kit. Were you mainly after a higher lift or was the 3rd gen suspension riding terrible?

Stiffer for sure but I like it a lot more compared to the 3rd gen suspension. I was going for a higher lift. I really like the small lift from the 3rd gen and the ride quality but after hanging out on this website for too long it really made me like the look of a higher lift.

For sure this site really makes you want to do more. I already have a 2020 TRD OR front coils/shocks and rear shock on standby but I've been contemplating on "doing it right the first time" with Eibachs or maybe even the 6112/5160 combo. Then I go back tell myself, I'm probably find with the 3rd gen stuff because I only go off-road a handful of times a year.

@mark@eibach Truck looks great as always, Mark! I just noticed your sig... are you guys building a 2.5 remote reservoir setup? At some point I'm going to want to upgrade my stock suspension so I'm glad it looks like Eibach is going to have more options to pick from :) I was actually talking to Ryan months ago and trying to see if he'd use my truck for test fitting, haha!

Do you know if any of these offerings will have progressive shock valving? From what I read it sounds like the current shocks you guys have are digressive, is that correct?

The 2.5" are still a ways off but I'm very pleased with what we have come up with on our prototype set. They've been on about 30K miles now and I've been putting them through their paces from Gold Mountain to Glamis.

We use a combination of digressive and linear pistons in our shocks. It is contingent on what we find works best with the geometry and weight of the chassis. The Tacomas in particular use a digressive piston design but valved with linear characteristics in high-speed damping zones. This translates to improved control on the pavement, compliance on the trail and lots of g-out control through whoops and big drops. This works particularly well with loaded down vehicles or for towing.

I have a stock 2006 prerunner 2 wheel drive and I just ordered the E80-82-007-01-22 kit. I have a dumb question, does it come with sway-bar relocation kit? If not do I need to install one? Thanks.

Yes mines came with the kit and I believe it needs to be installed so the coils don't rub against the sway bar.

Also don't forget to add a 1/4 top spacer on the drivers side to accommodate the taco lean.

Haha, I totally forgot I even posted in this thread. But, Ryan thanks for posting your set up and responding. It looks great and what I am looking to do. I just received my kit and it does have the sway bar relocation kit. Eibach packaged everything very well.

@mark@eibach buying the Eibach Pro Lift Kit for my 2006 DCLB Prerunner and I had one question. For the rear shocks when added a 3-leaf progressive Add-a-leaf with the "overload leaf" left in giving approx 2in lift is that too high of a lift for these Eibach rear shocks? I did read the can accommodate 0-1.5" but have see people on here run a the 3 leaf progressive Add-a-Leaf with the Overland. Thanks in Advance
