Cus thats all they are... probably slightly differently valved, and different nitrogen pressure... but beyond that, bilstein makes them for eibach.... ill put money on that.

Ok, good to know. Better than some no-name knock off I guess.

Thought so. Boxes say made by Eibach, and the rear shock is inverted from the Bilstein design.

I ordered them. Got the springs and shocks assembled and shipped for $469. Toytec is having a black friday sale. Not too bad IMO for a ready to slap on setup.

As far as the quality goes they're very nice. Can't comment on the ride just yet but I know eibach makes some of the best shocks in the tuner community so I'm sure their knowledge has transferred over to these. I expect them to do really well.

Nice! I had an eibach stetup on a 96 Integra GSR back in my car days and they were great. I'll let you know what I think if I beat you to install.

46mm piston just like 5100's.... 4 lift settings just like 5100's..... cmon, how can you say they are anything different?

Do we have extended and collapsed lengths?

No one said they were a completely different design. You said they were made by Bilstein, which isn't true. That's all I was saying. But like previously stated the rears are a different design.

Don't know the extended and collapsed lengths I haven't checked for that.

we have established they are not made by bilstein, i never said for sure they were i just said, looking at their design by appearance that they look damn near identical, down to the freaking piston size.

So dont expect them to be much if any better than a 5100. Id be interested to see what bilstein has to say about how almost identical the design is.

Eibachs are on. So far so good. Good over speed humps at speed and nice on the highway. Hard to compare to the stock setup due to a spring upgrade as well. It's all night and day on the positive side. I did have 5100s on my 3rd gen 4Runner and loved them. Again, can't compare apples to apples there either because they're such different vehicles weight and size wise. No regrets with these yet. I can't speak to the rear eibachs though. I'm running Icon 2.0s.

Never tried Eibach shocks...hated their springs on my Firebird (they didn't make a shock for the model). 5100's are tried and true by many, and a bit cheaper
