    Hey TW fam,

I recently had a set of the Eibach PRO TRUCK Coilover 2.0 Stage 2 installed on my '19 OR. This is their latest entry into the "truck world" offering a fully height adjustable true coilover strut for our Tacos.

Disclaimer, I'm not in any way associated or sponsored by Eibach.

Just wanted to give my first impressions of them as they're a fairly new addition to the market. I'm coming directly from their PRO LIFT Stage 1 kit. The PRO LIFT kit was my first ever aftermarket lift/suspension upgrade to my truck and for the price, it's the best bang for buck lift kit IMO. I was amazed at how well the truck rode immediately after installation. PRO LIFT definitely took out a lot of the front brake nosedive and smoothed out a lot of the bumps and dips. Had that kit on for ~10k miles before switching to the Coilover 2.0 Stage 2.

Stage 2 rides EVEN SMOOTHER. I'm amazed at how well they've revalved the coils to deliver an even smoother ride. The truck feels even more "planted" on the road. Driving the same roads to and from work, I was surprised at how much more dampening the Stage 2 delivers, the little bumps and dips I used to get w/ the Stage 1 have been significantly reduced. The revalved shocks are even more evident on the trails. I had them installed Thursday afternoon and did it's first shake down trail run that Saturday morning. A more technical trail, 2n17x to Pilot Rock. Stage 2's overall "softer" revalving made for on trail mannerisms that much better, definitely more comfortable trailing in the Stage 2s.

Overall, extremely pleased w/ the performance of the Stage 2 coils on and off road. The team over at Eibach have definitely made a great performance coilover w/o breaking the bank

TL : DR went from PRO LIFT Stage 1 to their fully height adjustable coilover 2.0 Stage 2. NO RAGRETS.

Is there any difference in the length or height of the lift?

Stage 1 was something like 2 or 2.5 inches of lift can you set these to only have 1 inch lift?

Did you reuse the stage 1 springs or is there a different spring For the stage 2’s?

I had them match the height of what my Stage 1 lifted me at, I’m not running anything in the rear and I wanted it to stay level

Yes you can, since it’s a true coilover, your adjustments can technically be infinite

I used a new spring for the Stage 2. Pic above is literally my Stage 1 sitting next to my new Stage 2

Did you have any other set-up previously? I wonder how these perform relative to the bilstein (etc.) upgrades available - Or even the PRO suspension.

could we use the same spring from the stage 1 or is it a completely different spring?

Of course it’s going to be softer. You went from a 742lb spring to 600lb. IIRC the shock valving didn’t change from what Ryan stated in another thread.

    I do believe you can.

I know the spring is a softer spring but when I spoke with Mark, he did say they revalved Stage 2 for better off-road performance. Maybe @Ryan at Eibach can help better clarify

Either way Stage 2 is the bomb

Did you only swap out the fronts by going stage 1 to stage 2?

Negative. The coilovers are designed to use our off-the-shelf race springs. You can find them at almost any offroad race shop if you're looking to increase your rate later down the road.

Rate and valving has changed. We did a round-robin with our engineering and management team jumping in and out of 8 different trucks over 200 miles of offroad / onroad terrain. Every vehicle was evaluated and updated.

As we working toward getting back to normal, I'm happy to help with any questions, just drop me a line.
