Hows it goin guys, finally recieved all of my mods and I'm planning on doin an overhaul this weekend or the following mon. and tue. (I'll just call in sick). But I read a little somethin last night in another post where TC or LR UCA's might be needed, even with just the eibachs and billy's set at 0. Any truth to this?

if its the eibach that arent on an adjustable coilover then your getting 1.6" which is less than 2.5" so you should be great with stock uca's

its the same as it would be for any other springs. take off old coilovers, take apart, put spring over shock, make sure the collar on the bottom and top plate are facing properly, put top plate on and tighten and install

try it without the uca's first. if you feel like it's not driving as good as you would like after the alignment. then get the uca's and re-align!

I just did my eibach springs and left them set at the 0 setting on 5100 struts. I had it alligned and it alligned exactly like a stock truck. Got 1.6 in. of lift.

There are some folks here in Texas near Austin that helped me do mine (they actually did most of the work with me assisting). Go to the Texas fourm at the bottom of this page and you will probably meet some of them. They are all good guys. We just all got together and had a work day on several trucks....I think maybe 7 or 8.

you really only need aftermarket uca's when ya go up to and above 3''. Otherwise theyre not really a must have, just a luxury lol
