Not sure what you mean by that, all pieces were installed. the rears only have AAL and the fronts the coils come with the struts.

Ahh, sorry not used to trucks so this is all new to me. We left everything in there and added the AAL so the overload spring is still in.

This is a no-brainer - get 6112's. Beefier with no risk of hitting the front sway bars. Ride is fantastic.

insta@_yotajoe : 5100s / spc uca, 34' cooper mts, allpro sliders/skids. sherpa roof rack. agency6 goodies, BAMF hybrid front bumper, BD lights/Hella spots.
With running stock springs on the 5100s what would be the difference to change and get new ones? Any ride or offroad changes to pay the extra $200 or whatever they are. "tacomaworld- smart answer you get new springs thats the difference."

Stock upper control arm. I'm at 3/2 for a half inch of lift.

Just installed the 6112/5160 and Icon AAL and Dobinson's upper arms yesterday and love the height and ride quality. Especially in the rear. It's definitely better than stock on road.

Will the 6112/5160 combination give me a softer ride than the TRD sport suspension I have now? I find the current suspension a little bit too firm.

I haven't been in a sport but I was going 40-50 down washed out and pot hole filled dirt roads the past few days, the ride is awesome. Much more controlled and comfortable than stock.

But not as mushy as the OR - its kind of a goldilocks on road setup in my opinion.

Anyone know the difference between the 05-15 and 16-20 6112? I read somewhere that the fitment is the same but have minor differences
    Can anyone clarify?

The valving, and notches for the various height settings, and also Bilstein won't warranty a 2nd gen set on a 3rd gen and the other way around.

A better comparison between Eibach and Bilstein would be the Eibach 2.0 Coilover and the 6112s. The only advantage Bilstein has is a wider piston, average person doesn't require a "2.5" unless they heading to moab and offroad for days on end. The Eibach pistion is digressive similar to Bilstein however the Eibach offers a more linear progressive coil. But I don't know. ‍

I'm far from an expert and I can't help to wonder why no one else has developed a 60mm strut and spring assembly with circlip. Fox/Kings/Icon/OME/Eibach all go to coilovers when at that size. Eibach also provides a sway bar relocate spacer.

I've been back and forth between the 6112s and Eibach Coilovers. About the same cost. Nothing ordered... still deciding.
