Been out of the loop for some time now and wondering if eibach are still recommended for 2g rwd dcsb?

looking at replacing my fathers truck with new suspension with a basic upgrade. Looking at stage 1 or 2. My local off road shop shows one part for Rwd and 4wd. But eibach is showing two part numbers for them. Also they said they use the 3rd gen kits on the 2g anyways all the time. Is this correct? Am just worried since last I read eibach made noise on 2g rwd trucks so I wasn’t sure if it’s been fixed

    Thank you
