Thanks brother! Coupled with some spare bungees in the side boxes, the extra D-rings are super-handy for strapping down fuel cans etc...used 'em this afternoon after swapping out some propane cylinders at Lowe's.

As far as the sliders, just last week I was able to get in on the group buy from Mobtown.

Thanks man! You East or West coast? I used to fly out of New River, and stopped through Pendleton last month for a sip of gas before heading out to bounce decks.

Got in on one of the last slots on the group buy for a set of sliders from Mobtown Offroad! Finally will be able to rid myself of the indignity of driving around with ripped up tube steps!

How much weight have you put on OEM roof rack? A while back you mentioned you'd be histamine putting much weight up there.

I haven't exactly weighed, but I'm perfectly comfortable putting my filled-up Thule cargo box up there with and a bike or two. I don't think I'd use it for a heavier canoe (mostly due to aerodynamic loads), but wouldn't worry about some rotomolded 'yaks if they were on the lighter side.

Congrats on that...enjoy life on the outside. Still flying?

I'm (obviously) a V-22 guy - used to fly PAVE LOWs out of Mildenhall though. We've probably beat up the same areas of the Mach loop...I did it a lot slower (although a lot lower) though. ;)

I was at Lakenheath from 07-2010…PAVE LOWs left right after I got there, be safe!

BTW, if you're still shopping around although I like the OEM ones - if I did it all over I might have considered some of the stuff from Prinsu a little more....I just happened to already have a ton of Thule gear that I could slap right on to the OEM bars.
