I was searching trying to find where you got your head lights. I need to have a front turn signal function and I like that method where it's integrated in the headlight assembly.
Maybe this here?

Cool. I'm going to grab em, look at em and if wiring the turn signal in doesn't make sense, I'll contact you haha. Already suspicious as to how yours doesn't hyper flash.

 

Mine doesn't hyper flash because I replaced the flasher/relay with one that is LED compatible.

So, I haven't been doing much with (or to) my truck lately... except driving it to and from work.

Been busy working on other projects.

Valve Covers / Timing Belt / Water Pump on a buddy's T4R


Also replacing pretty much the entire front suspension/brakes and steering rack on my son's T4R




And doing some metal work for our daughter's wedding.

 

Today I got to sit down and figure out some of the remaining items I need for my headlights.

Ordered a few more pieces.

 

Are you gonna go Rgb with your halos? With the xbt controller you can control your halos and demon eyes via bluetooth. I almost went with the turbine shroud as well. It was hard to decide.

 

I'm almost positive I am going to do switchback halos facing forward and rgb halos facing back (to backlight the housings). I had to ask The Retrofit Source if the controller would do demon eyes AND rgb halos and they said the same thing you did... that yes they both can run off the same controller.

I had a hard time deciding on the shrouds too lol... that's why I ordered the mini gatlings with my lights... and now I changed my mind to the mini turbines.

 

Interested to see how it turns out. With the controller you can do up to 3 outputs. So you could do both halos in rgb. Sounds like a cool design your going for.

 

I don't think the switchback halos need a controller. They don't have a drop down to add them, when you buy them... like the halos and demon eyes. I think they work off the blinker. But I'm learning as I go, and am thoroughly confused at times... which is why the lights are taking so damn long lol.

 

@Pella @RobertsT4R and I made a lot more progress on the wedding project tonight.

 

They do, but you can wire them into a switch. I have mine and my halos wired into one of my buttons on my switchpro. But if you want it to blink with your turn signal than stick with the switchbacks.

 

I kind of want to wire the switchbacks to a switch as well. I'd like to be able to run just the demon eyes and (back lit) RGB halos, when I'm in certain situations. (crawling mall parking lots and such)

 

Yeah there fun, I geeked out on it, but I never remember to turn em on. Makes for cool photos, but definitely a vanity mod. I figured if I was gonna open the lights up might as well have fun with it. I know I wheel, and never have been the type to care what others think.

In reality, I probably wont use the demon eyes / RGB... But I would like to have the switchbacks for better signals than I have right now (with tube bumper)

 

You will use em, then giggle and feel like a kid with a new toy. It was worth it to keep me from not feeling 42 lol

Have to say I'm pretty impressed with Summit Racing right now.

Ordered 1 gallon + 2 quarts of ATF yesterday... it's out for delivery today.
