    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
And we continue to move in the right direction. I don't think that's bad for our first 6 months. Considering I also haven't really posted any new content in almost a month.

Pulled the skid plates... I know my truck is heavy, and one of the reasons is quarter inch skid plates. Tell me I don't need quarter inch skid plates.

This is one season. They were basically smooth and just painted last winter.

    RADesigns triple sticks showed up.

Found the front section of my Pre-Runner rear driveline under a pile of parts. My rear section was in the truck for a spare.

New center bearing should be arriving later today. I'll replace it before I take the DL to get cut and balanced.

Pulled the front driveline so it can be lengthened.

    Progress on the body lift.

The blocks for the bed were just 1.5 x 1.5 holly squares. These will be a lot beefier and spread the weight a lot better.

    20221119_190513.jpg

Just need to drill the holes for the bushing sleeves in the middle and front blocks, clean everything up, then weld everything together.

    Dayum... that's rough.

We only saw, like, 6 other rigs out there that week. Was nice and quiet.

So, here's the difference between the bed blocks the came with the body lift, and the one's I made.

    20221124_120316.jpg

The bed blocks, I made, make better contact between body and frame than there was without them.

    20221124_130424.jpg

Ran out of daylight, but the body lift is mostly done. Just need to tighten everything and install the steering shaft spacer.

Wasn't sure what I would think about it... but actually, I don't hate it.

Not in particular considering a body lift, but maybe one day depending on where the build goes. Black Friday already got me good on some other truck stuff this year. Looks good though, definitely not as bad as I thought

Ruff Stuff already sent a notification that the axle housing is ready for pick up.

    That was quick! Pretty stoked.

This is a "Ruff" idea how it will look when we start making progress. Going to have to get creative with leaf perches and U-bolts.

@eimkeith I'm scoping out your fuel tank lift kit. Have you had a chance to get any feedback on how it fits with a double cab?

Not everyone can "afford" the leaf spring elimination :bananadead:. I see plentiful of owners complaining about their $800 pack costing too much and it didn't include the shock.
