You should be able to just turn the fitting on the resi 90* so it faces the other way. As long as you have enough threads on there so it doesn't leak, it's a pretty standard hydraulic fitting.

Is the shock pressurized? I would depressurize it so it doesn't blow out before messing with it.

Ya... That's the thing... I get to pull the coilover, and unmount the coil, and depressurize the shock.

So... I can re-pressurize the shock, and re-mount the coil, and re-install the coilover... again.

you should be able to depressurize the shock without having to take the coil off.

Ya the rain throws a wrench into the mix forsure. It'll all be worth it in the end though when you're driving it and have a fat grin on your face hitting those mall whoops at 50mph :D

Do you have any more pictures of how you cut your fender flares for 35s?
It looks like you didn't have to completely gut the underside of them and we're able to keep some of the lower mounting hardware which I haven't seen anyone do before

I can try and snap some pictures if it stops raining lol.

But yes I was able to keep a lot of the mounting hardware. The front most clip had to be cut this last time to clear the 35s with LT but I just bought some of these style clips to retain the plastic fender to the metal fender (there was a bit of the tab I was able to leave on when I made my cut.

Sweet. I don't have holes in my fender for the upper flare mounting like on the 01-04's so I'm curious on how much of it you were able to leave.

Is the rear of the flare closest to the door mounted at all? I assume you had to lose those bottom two bolts that hold it on on the bottom side, when you tubbed.

Didn't do any real heavy work on the truck today.

But I did accomplish mounting the lighted whip.

So, I'm going to start the dual cases tomorrow. Am I looking at this right?

    Pull case
Mate front and rear cases together
    Do shifters
Install cases with them mated together

(realizing there will be issues with the floor board)

Sorry I didn’t respond to your text, I got caught up at work with the alarm going off

The floor clearancing is gonna be the big process
The rest is fairly straight forward bolting in then once it’s in the cross member
The double cab shouldn’t be as bad as the regular cab was tho

    No worries bud.

I realize the floor will be a bitch, but I have no worry about cutting what ever I have to in to the floor and patching it.

1 thing that may help is double cab AND 1 inch body lift.

I'm thinking once I get the stock t case out, I'll use the second case by it's self to line everything up and get the pad attached to the crossmember for the mount set in the right place before I mate up the two cases.

Then I'll mate them up and lift them in to place together with the shifters already installed.

yea you've got the right idea. You don't necessarily have to do the shifter until you have the cases mated to the transmission though. Might be easier to get it up in there through the floor hole without them on there.
Biggest point of contact for me was the rear most part of the case. Didn't give enough room for it when I initially did it, so the cab would come in contact with that part. Don't be stingy on the bfh

edit: forgot you have a 1in bl. That will help a lot with clearance

I always do the shifters last, easier to install them going in from the top. Cutting an access panel from the front shifter to the rear and building a new one out of sheet that bolts in place is also what I recommend. Makes future maintenance or repairs much easier. That is assuming you have a trans jack, if you don't, install the crawl box first then the rear case.
