It's less Tacoma and more mod
That's the old Fox colors. His story checks out on them being NOS

That's actually a really good deal. And not far away (relatively)

But is it worth having a mismatched looking suspension???

I asked him if they are 2.0 or 2.5

I can't tell from the picture.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell with no reference in the picture. I’d say they are 2.5’s but $1650 is a lot especially if you’re unhappy with the color. That’s probably not too far off from new price.

Yeesh I haven’t looked at new shock prices in awhile. I know you don’t like blue so these won’t do much to interest you:

    https://classifieds.race-dezert.com/FOR-SALE:King-Shocks-PR-2.5x14-3-Tube-Piggyback-Bypass-202630

For the price of new Fox’s there are these, but don’t think they’ll fit between the frame and tires

    https://classifieds.race-dezert.com/FOR-SALE:ADS-3.0x14-quadruple-bypass-shocks--202856

There were some 2.5 Fox 14” smoothies for $800 on market place if you want to mock things up and upgrade later. They’re blue too though haha

Rear axle is out. Front (stock) leaf perches are gone. Tomorrow I'll size up the rear perches and tack them in.

    20231021_175744.jpg

Did some assembly on some of the traction bar.

    20231021_181240.jpg
    20231021_181343.jpg

Got the front traction bar mounts started.

Going to have to do some stuff with the exhaust. But it's all in the plan lol.

    Cut all the perches out.

    Resized_20231021_170714.jpg

Tacked in the rear perches and started hanging the leafs.

    Resized_20231021_170735.jpg

About ready to be in with the new.

1st (of many I'm sure) test fit.

    20231023_182324.jpg

    Too low

Ordered 6 inch shackles and I'll be putting the 5th leaf back in the pack.

But it seems that moving the axle back a bit more than an inch gives me the room I need for the driveline (the Land Cruiser 3rd member is an inch taller from mounting surface to driveline flange). That's a plus.

The Ubolt eliminators work fine with the leafs and with the back truss.

And... it looks WAAAY better with the rear close to the same width as the front.

Shackle angles look like they may be good to go as well when I change the shackles and add the leafs.
