We all have companies we can't deal with. At least I do, lol.

Before covid, took RCV 3 months for both front and rear inners. Hopefully that's not the case but if @Dalandser waited 10 months, they might be backed up or depleted supply.

So far, no issue with MC. They actually hook me up with stuff when I go in and resolved issue when I ordered parts through another vendor (because it was cheaper, lol) when the issue wasn't theirs to began with.

TG on the other hand, fuck them. Cheap crap, don't last, and hard to warranty. Went the other day with a buddy to pick his up 1 item order and waited almost an hour after checking in. Thats BS.

Just glad I no longer need parts, I'll be pulling whatever hair I have left. Tho this winter will be exciting. Truck is currently in cosmetic surgery, blood transfusion, and liposuction

    That's nice.

Yeah I went in wanting to leave my 4R (whenever they could take it in) to get the brand new harrop installed.

Dude was talking about being too busy, etc. he didn't even want my money so fuck them.

Hell yea man. It's coming together nice. It'll be sweet once it's all dialed in and working well.

Yeah RCV and other axle builders are super busy this time of year. This is where sponsorship takes precedent over normal average guy purchases. If your a decent axle builder chances are you have some type of KOH orders to fill. I remember talking to Brian when I first was going through the axle process. Was straight up and said during this time frame is just swamped.

Post covid prices are insane, definitely takes away the build an old Toyota for cheap. Over here on the wrong coast its always a waiting game. 99% of the build came from the guy in the brown truck.

What is your rear axle WMS again?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    WMS is 66 7/8

Front Range did finally just get back to me. They said they are working on an in house batch of FF axles right now, they can get me in. He said he would hope to have them shipped by New Years. That is probably as good or better than any other axle builder out there right now.

I responded and told him I'm in for 3 axle shafts (2 plus a spare). The price is good. Heat treated 4340 for $375 each.

I asked for a payment link etc... they haven't responded. Hopefully they will soon.

Spare is nice but will probably not get any run unless you full send. You will more likely break a ring before an inner.

This ring gear definitely before the shafts.
Since using a drive flange instead of a manual hub the outer hub gear is no longer the fuse, it'll be the ring gear.
That or some hub studs...could keep those factory and would be an easy break/fix vs RP.

I’ve also seen the third member studs break before the ring gear and axles…

Agree with you all Toyota rear axles rarely blow unless under extreme duress.

Seen some fairly twisted rear oem axles too. Which was why I ran oem over chromoly. Chromoly is tougher but usually fails catastrophically.

I can't find anywhere where I can order custom Longfields. Everywhere I see them listed is in pre-cut lengths.

Does anyone have a link to where I could order Longfields?

I filled out the spec sheet for Dutchman axles, we'll see if they respond.

Front Range still hasn't responded with how I actually get those on order. I've already burned a fucking week on them now... I'm kind of fucking pissed at them.

I think Trail Gear owns Longfield now. So I can imagine the support they provide now…

Used to be able to just call the company and they’d hook you up. I exploded a locking hub and it took out half the splines on the stub shaft. Called the company and gave me a deal on a new stub shaft.
