Out of those three, I currently have the Yokahama Geolander's (315/75/16) on the truck after seeing them on @tyfoon11 's truck and talking about how sexy they were with @916TacoTruck . Since I just finished my gear break in process, I haven't had a chance to test them out off road yet but so far on road, no complaints. My previous 2 sets of tires were toyo open Country AT/2 tires and on the road, I haven't heard a visible noise difference. Granted with my regear, im at higher RPMs on the freeway on top of road noise and a loud radio, I have never noticed tires being loud or not.

I was on stock gearing with these new 35s for a week or two. The truck definitely felt slower from a stop and you could feel the power loss but I would not have had an issue driving it around as is for a couple of months if I needed to but then again you drive much more than I do. I think if you're going from 285/70/17 -> 285/75/17, i doubt you'd notice much of a difference before your regear. I'd just get the tires you want and regear when you get the parts.

Recieved the vinyl (to replace the carpet) yesterday.



Will probably install after Christmas.

I needed the vehicle side of the wiring harness for the BMW seats. (for power/ground) Just found a set on eBay yesterday, and ordered them.



When I install the seats, I'll need to do some tack welding to the brackets inside the truck. I don't want to burn the new vinyl, so the vinyl install with have to wait till the seat install. The harnesses are tracking to arrive after Christmas.

 

Ordered the strut tower reinforcement plates from @eimkeith.

He's also rumored to be working on reinforcements for the sides of the strut towers as well...

I hope that is true, and I hope he let's me know as soon as he has something worked up. I'd even offer up my services as the guinea pig, if needed.

Met up with @Pyrifera (cool dude) today and snatched up his old fridge.

 

Well... Didn't get to everything I wanted to this weekend. But, I got quite a bit done.

Did some maintenance:
Did a pretty thorough inspection on the rear half of the truck and re-torqued all the main stuff (leafs, Ubolts, etc)
Checked fluid level in the tcase
Regreased all the ujoints and both drivelines

Then I was also able to get the BMW seats installed



And While I was at it, we went ahead and installed the vinyl

 

CS 144 (Cadillac) alternator and Big 3 wire upgrade complete.




Also, did an oil change and replaced the A/C idler bearing.

Haven't been keeping up with updating this thread. Been busy remodeling the house.

But I figured I had a minute to bring things up to date now.

Made a trip to Prairie City... was a nice get away from the remodel chores.
