Just a little update, went to discount tire co. and received two new rear bf's since one had a nail and the other had a sidewall puncture from a tree stump and they were covered under road hazard warranty. Also went to wheeltoberfest this past weekend and had a blast. Lot's of FJ's. Next mod will def be a locker after trying to rockcrawl with open diff. I'm looking at the yukon grizzly locker.

Should be getting the following very soon for my rear suspension.

    Deaver f67's
    King bypasses
    Total Chaos 12"shackles
    Bed cage for the shocks
Possibly a yukon grizzly locker if i have enough left

Plan to mount the shackles above the frame but still don't know how I'm going to go about designing the bed cage.

    you'll want 16" or 18"

bypass shocks allow you to fine tune the compression and rebound of the shock through different points of the stroke, smoot bodies do not.

thats what the tubes on bypass shocks are for, smooth bodies get their name from just that, no external tubes welded to the shock body.

both are resi, rebuildable, and allow for specific valving

Thanks for the head's up. Only reason i was looking at the 67's was because it said that it provides a 3 inch lift. Not that it really matter's but I thought what the heck it will at least match the front pretty close.

Thanks for clarifying that up for me matt. For what I'll be doing I think the smooth bodies will do just fine.

Went out to Amarillo on Sunday with some friends to hit up some trails. Only thing I broke was an idler arm. Sheared the bolt in half. Quick trip to autozone and 50 dollars later I was back on the road. Got some video of me hitting the whoops but I'm still waiting for my friend to upload it. In the mean time here are some pictures.

Agh i wish i had an endless pit of money :(
I have 15 dollars to my name at the moment or else i would go for it. I know Total Chaos makes their own idler arm but that thing is $$. Thanks for looking out tho Matt. Great thing is vato-zone gave me a lifetime warranty on my idle arm so if it breaks (hope not) i'll just take it back. The bumper was bent because my buddy snatched me out of a hole and we figured it would hold. Guess we were wrong. Still have to repair that as well.
