After I have lifted something heavy (like firewood bags) and put them in my truck bed. Or even when I point with my whole arm extending with my finger, My elbow locks up and before I can stop it, it pops and hurts like a motherf*^ker.

Anyway to help from doing this? I dont want this to get in the way of me pitching.

I'd be willing to guess that it's actually because of your pitching. Over use of your ligaments from strenuous things like sports can lead to stretching and misalignment. See what your doctor says about it. I'm sure there are excises and stretches you can do to strengthen them.

I would probably agree. I had a similair issue about a year ago and I had to have surgery in my elbow to fix it. They actually cut the tendon and moved it to another spot. Almost all of the pain is gone and has not returned. Its different from tennis elbow as its on the inside of the joint.

Definatley ice it down, take some ibprophen. If it persists see a orthapedic surgeon. Good luck

but its my joint. the ligaments are fine i have no problem with them. Its just my elbow joint is all messed up.

I can see how it could be misaligned But i dont know from what. It pops every now and then.... usually from doing extreme movements (ie Heavy lifting, extreme extending of the arm, etc.)

You're thinking of tendons. Though tendonitis is definitely something to consider. Ligaments are tissue that connect bone to bone (ie in this case your ulna and radius). If the ligament isn't holding the two proximal ends together correctly, your forearm won't articulate properly within the fossa in your humerus. Your "extreme movements" may be stretching your ligaments and causing your ulna and radius to not articulate properly within the humerus.

Seriously though, there are so many possible things. Don't take action on account from something you heard from someone on the internet. Go see your doctor and go easy on the pitching until you do.

So youre saying that the tendons in my arm aren't in the right place or are too loose?

Thank you. Well Hopefully I dont have to go to an extent as surgery... I mean it seriously only happens after i lift something heavy and things like that

keep ice on it for a while, and take advil. one thing though....you gotta keep stretching it out, then icing it down. only use heat minimally if needed. you probably just hyper extended it.

my shouldier would lock up when ever I lifted anything over my head, or in a certain motion (benchpress, militay press, chest flies, etc). It would make a physically and audibly noticeable pop and feel like It was going to fail...not a good feeling military pressing with 2 35lb dumbells or a 90lb barbell directly over your head. Turns out when i dislatec it 4 times and popped it back in last season I tore some tissue.

Now I have some popping in my other shoulder but my physical therapist said it was either the same thing, or a liginment stretched across the joint, and each pop is it slipping over the joint.

Either way I would see an orthopedic surgeon. It doesnt mean that you will have to get surgery, since it sounds like it is something physical therapy can fix
