    Something like this could help the acid sweat folk. A couple different companies make them

    Was just going to recommend this to the OP. I actually bough that same product as mentioned above. Wasn't thrilled with how it held onto the door and it was a bit bulkier than I expected. Overall it was comfortable to lean on though. OP if you want mine its brand new I can throw it in the mail to you, no charge, it's just sitting on my work bench. Some one might as well get use out of it. PM me if you are interested in it.

    Yup with the DIY mod with a mouse pad or other, I need to find a way to make it stay there without damaging the soft plastic below. I'm thinking a plastic "lip" glued to the end of the mouse pad that grabs the little dip before the inside glass wiper might do the trick. Another thought is to put strong magnets inside the door and put top magnets on the mouse pad. That way it is removable when the mouse pad gets "ratty".

    If that doesnt work. Dry wall screws is next. :)

    There are also very affordable and very absorbant self adhesive disposable pads that would do the trick. Available everywhere!
