I'm pretty sure that Toyoata truck is meant for the Mining industry to use in low ventilation areas and areas with volatile combustible environment. I could be wrong, though.

    Either way, it looks cool.

It is at a mine yes. But it's also a tester for future production EV

This is an area that could use a deep dive. I'm not the person to do it though.

The amount of waste in the current huge plants is pretty unmanageable. If things were scaled down and used more modern systems, waste becomes much less intimidating.

I'm in the geothermal camp for the future, but small scale nuclear can be a stopgap if we need it to be.

How many of those industry specific EV systems will trickle down into consumer products is still up for debate and Toyota's profit margins. I say bring it on though.

Toyota is meticulous in their R&D and it shows in their products. They have the most EV's on the planet so they could be well ahead of some curves. I'm looking forward to it too!

Toyota prius change the future, my family members owns the Prius in Maine. They drive over 250k on the Prius.
Toyota elec motor and batteries are good, they got a lot data back from it. Currently I don’t believe electric vehicles is good for everybody. California, NYC etc is good.

It looks like the 3 vehicles will have Solid State batteries. Game changer for the environment and most importantly charge and range.

Id love a cool pro touring style 70 C10 pickup with a mid 300's hp EV system.

Was kidding, i like hybrid technology- not a huge fan of all electric just because i like being able to fill up the tank and not wait for a charge on a long trip. Just seems like a “limited” experience.

Speculation is that the 3 EV's Toyota is announcing this year may have solid state batteries.
