You took it like I was hoping you would as I was not trying to push any buttons, and I'm not a hater, I have two sons 29 and 31 and I watched them go through the lifting, lowering and everything in between. And BTW, your truck is already bad ass!

My brother had these on an srt-8 charger and he could go from quiet stock exhaust to wide open. On THAT car it was fantastic! A tacoma; not so much. Buy another muscle car. Fox bodied mustangs would be my choice. Huge following, great aftermarket supply. Cheap to start, then the sky and your wallet are the limit!

I had that exact cut out...it was super loud...

The down side to these is that motor actuator becomes loose over time and builds up grime from crap on the road so it my first actuator was warranty replaced...once he 2nd one went out I gave up on it...but I did love the noise

 I think they have these mini spark plugs you attach to your tail pipe that ignites any unburnt fuel traveling out the exhaust to make flames :D

But fuck no I'm not doing that lol...I live in OC. I'm lifted and every other car is a convertible Benz. The last thing I need is a lawsuit on my hands for burning off the $6000 Bosley hair treatment belonging to the business executive behind me at the light :D

I've definitely been thinking about doing this! I love loud exhaust, but don't like the drone. So I was planning on doing this.

Never seen that Camaro before

I have more than one zombie defense mechanism in my truck...flames would be cool but ultimately useless. They only die when you disconnect the brainstem.

You guys seriously should leave it to the experts here....

Machete to the brain/neck is still the accepted manner in which zombies are terminated. I'd be filling up every day if I had to rev that much to kill 1 zombie

just as the code posted above, its illegal either way, with that said, I ran one on my STI for a grand total of 8 hours, (the qtp one you showed above actually) I modified my downpipe (which was catless anyway) and dumped it straight to the ground 2 ft after the turbo... it was mean... I knew I was gonna get pulled over so I ditched it the next day.

Wont be using it on the streets anyway. If you wrote out all the CVC's I and almost EVERY truck on this forum driving in CA are in violation of, you'd never see the end of the list.

I call BS on your intelligence.

I would guarantee the BLM would not be happy with you running a vehicle around like this. It would be a fire hazard. Why do you think spark arrestors are mandatory on OHV's?

Figured I'd get some sticklers. You can call BS on anything you want, you're dead wrong. Please explain to me how a muffler is safer than a spark arrestor? I have stock headers and 2 cats on EACH pipe...in the REMOTE possibility that a piece of glowing hot carbon gets passed 2 different catalytic converters (have you ever seen in the inside of one?) and out the cutout to start a fire on the sand dune I'm driving on ( ), I have a fire extinguisher in my rig ready to put it out.

I appreciate your input on the matter, and expressing the BLM's stance on their behalf. You can throw everything you got at me, call my intelligence BS, but in the end, I'll be making that decision for myself. I'm not your regular yahoo wheeler boy. I take precautions half the people out there don't even think about. I trust my own judgement, and I'm sorry you have to get so worked up over a damn cutout.

Thanks for the info. Got 5 years to take it off, I'm sure I'll be more than sick of it by then.

My buddy has one on his F150 and it sounds badass. I wanted to do one on the taco, but I unhooked the muffler at the approximate point I'd install the bypass...

And it sounds like a pissed off lawnmower. Damn V6... just doesn't have that throaty V8 sound.

Thats the whole point of your stupidity. You plan on dumping the exhaust before the muffler and just after the cats. I have heard of people parking a vehicle in high grass and the cats igniting the grass from contact from the out side of it. So you are going to tell me then that a chunk of carbon in the cat area that is hot enough to start fire could not get dumped right out through one of these? At least it could have the benefit of going through the muffler and the extra feet of pipe to cool down before exiting.

And by the way did you refer to the linked video? That is how most people think of loud bikes and cars. They are not looking at you because YOU think you are cool. Its because you are a ______!
