Thanks man! No they did not make it out of the dealer lol. I'll try to sell them.

Felt like I had to black out the truck to do the lime color right.

Saw a metallic lime Tacoma a few days ago. I wouldn't have thought that color is for me but it was absolutely gorgeous@

Sweet! I still haven’t run into any other ELM taco in the wild. How much did you pay for the wheels btw?

Had a PowertraxPro XR tonneau cover added today and mounted a Yakima Outpost rack. RTT coming in a couple of days; can't wait to get it mounted so we can start our camping adventures.

Looked like my garage last month before selling the Tacoma. After seeing the new Tacoma Pro and trailhunter glad I did.

This picture got me thinking, as i see the lime 4Runners way more than i do the tacos, has anyone done a side by side of the 2 colors? I believe they're actually different correct?

Comparing mine vs. the 4Runner i've always felt the 4Runner had a bit more yellow tint and a bit more muted overall, but that may just be me.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.

You are correct. They are two different colors.

Taco got: Electric Metalic Lime (official name)
4runner: Lime Rush (official name), which is actually a pearl and has more yellow as you identify

Just 4 fun. Here's a side by side of solar octane. In 2024 they are the exact same colors

I had both for a year parked side by side. The 4runner has more of a gold yellow tint to it than the Tacoma. They both change color in different light so some days I like one over the other. I just drove my 4runner cross country and my 87 year old father saw it and said great color it was an over cast day. I met him at a restaurant on a sunny day and he said where’s your car? I said you parked next to it. He says oh it looks completely different now. I liked it better before. The Tacoma I found to be more boring and flat when in the shade luckily I lived in Arizona so it was usually always bright and sunny and the color popped more. When I picked up the tacoma at the dealer it was in a pretty dull showroom and most people there hated it. When I took it outside those same people thought it was cool. So each his own

Also, forgot to say hi here. Ever since my first Barcelona Red tacoma was totaled I always wanted a Lime taco. Had to travel around to find a 9 mile CPO (i'll take the free extended warranty on a new truck) for sale, and grabbed it as fast as I can. Love the electric lime will be one of the rarer colors, even if i'm not a Pro :( I've only added some XL80s i had from old trucks, a new skid and Shrockworks sliders. Bed stripes are a holdover from my red taco, where my buddy and i did it to be "different" from other tacos, however i don't think i need it much with the Lime anymore. However its nice to have a link to my old scrapped truck.
