Electric motor sound when first put into drive

    What is that sound? It only does it when I put the truck is put into drive and start to pull out.

    Ever been on an airplane and hear the motors working in the wings to adjust the air flaps? That is what it sounds like but only for 1 second.

    I have a similar thing on an 09 6spd. It sounds very much like the auto door locks on some vehicles. On mine it sounds like it is above and behind me - Something in the seat belt mechs. maybe ?

    I figured it was normal. I think it sounds pretty cool, actually. Like a jet preparing for lift off :D


    Curiosity is asking what the truck is actually doing.

    Everything that i have done so starting first with the shell, westin sportsman front grill,PIAA fog lights, westin rear light guards, dee-zee side steps, Nice upgradred rims and tires, dvd player,12 inch sub, Halo headlights, K&n Cold air intake, bed mat......
    it def is your anti lock brake system when i bought my truck it tripped me out every time i heard it... But its def the brakes!!!
