I have a tonneau and just got a RTT, mounted on the bike rack on the tonneau. I'd like to create a system that would lift the tonneau straight up 16-18" so I can make use of the annex. Electric actuators would be okay, 16" seems to be the limit of what would fit in the bed but I'd really like 18" of lift, and I think I'd prefer a pneumatic (on board air) or hydraulic (hand pump) system. Anyone seen any thing out there? Not afraid to build it but short on time to research, and Big Bend trip is a month away.
