I did not ask you if they exist I asked you for one that worked. Transvestites do not work but they do exist. The same for the electric superchargers. :D

I have to agree with him. The 2 articles he supplied made sense to me.

There is such a thing as a real electric super charger. Its the axial fan design of the fake ones that make them not work. if you are to take a normal supercharger like a vortec, its just a matter being able to spin it with enough torque and speed to build boost and that can be done with an electric motor.

Here is the Proven Thomas Knight system. as you can see though it varies wildly from the fake system in its design and can only produce short bursts of Boost like a NO2 system.

Neither has produced an electric supercharger that stands alone running off the electrical system and works. If they did you could buy them and get the results claimed.

Did you actually read the article before you posted it? The massive amount of electricity it needs to work means you could not possibly use it for a production vehicle. That is the whole point. You cannot produce enough electric to overcome the draw of the electric motor/motors and make is affordable to operate for everyday use.

I never said anything about stand-alone.

I said they were developing them for use as a support for a traditional exhaust driven blower. Simply demonstrating that the technology existed and could be used in a vehicle successfully.

That Has nothing to do with this. This is about adding an aftermarket electrical supercharger. They DO NOT WORK. :D

Yes I read it. I understand that a self sustaining electrical super charger is not practical. My point is that there is such a beast--impractical as it is.
