I added two USB outlets to my console and tapped into the ACC fuse in the fuse block lower, left of the steering wheel because I wanted switched power. When I plug a phone in to charge, I get static on my radio, all stations. When not charging, no static. I have a good ground under the center console. Do I need to tap a different fuse? If so, which would you suggest?

I only have one "power outlet" under the dash and it is not switched. I want the circuit to be switched.

Ah. Might help if you listed your year and trim model. Fuse labels change from year to year.

What about 35? Is the cigarette lighter switched or constant in the 2015s?

Anyone else have any ideas why I would be getting the radio static? Would it be coming from this fuse terminal? Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for the info. Looks like the USB outlets are the issue NOT what circuit they are wired to. For anyone else having this issue, I would read the link that ktbell attached.
