On the Tacoma they are on the back of the cylinder head, I would have to assume they are the same on the 4Runner.

I would too. But nothing seems to be “the same” or “normal” here lately….

All grounds out of ECM are grounded. I ran an overly to those that weren't and grounded them to bank 1 cylinder head. (EE) with all the others.

Back to what I was saying before about the path to ground as this wire definitely shouldn't have - polarity at any point in my opinion but it definitely does somehow with test light on what is clearly a power wire...vital one at that.

    Make it make sense?

That schematic doesn't show the rest of what that relay feeds.
If you look at the full engine wiring diagram the EFI Relay feeds:

    PCM
Control side of the A/F Heater Relay
Load side of the COPN Relay

    EFI No2 Fuse which feeds:

    Leak Detection Pump
    Mass Airflow Sensor
    ACIS VSV
    EVAP VSV
    Both O2 Sensor Heaters

A standard 150mA test light is gona light up if you go from battery positive to that circuit.

Did you verify that we now have all the powers and grounds at the PCM aside from E8 pins 1 & 2?

Can you get us some pics of the cut wires and their position in the connector?

What about E8 Pin 3? (Blue wire)
AFAIK, we never had power there yet.

And you did fix the grounds? Correct?

Alright. I’m in the middle of mowing.
But until then, can you go back and recheck the powers and grounds @Dm93 posted earlier.

    We are missing someone .

I'm going to have to set down and go through this whole thread and see if we missed Power or Ground.
If memory is correct, we were missing power to the E8 Pin 3 / (Blue wire) at the ECM. Then we checked the EFI fuse, then the IC4 Connector.
And now, We have power to Pin 3? Something weird is going on here. Ever since we messes with that IC4 connector, thigs have "happened" mostly for the good.

Let me read over the data we have. It's going to take some time.

When you fixed the ground quoted above.
There were a total of 3 wires that needed fixed.
    Did you get all 3?

    E4 - Pin (6)
    E4 - Pin (7)

    E6 - Pin (1)

Unless you can send me the 2007 duagrams. I can't do it.
    I don't have complete diagrams for a 2007 4Runner.

Check your PM for my Email.
If you can send them to me. I'll be happy to map it.
