I posted a while back about my headlight auto-off feature working intermittently all of a sudden after being fine the first couple years of my ownership of my 2015.

Lately there’s been another odd wrinkle, the truck is hanging up phone calls sporadically when I’m connected via Bluetooth.

Since posting about the first issue, I’ve read posts about the possibility of damaging the ECU when replacing interior lights without first disconnecting the battery. I didn’t disconnect the battery when I installed my Meso dome and map lights. My auto-off issues probably started after that.

Could these be related? I don’t care about the headlight issue, I just turn them off manually every time now. But the Bluetooth issue is a major ass pain because I take long work calls during my commute and rely on the Bluetooth.

Any idea if these are somehow fixable?

I wouldn’t think the Bluetooth would have anything to do with changing lights.

From what I’ve heard about the OE system, it’s not too good and a lot of people have experience problems.
