I have an alpine pdx V9 amp that draws 900 watts. And a 50" led bad that draws about 290 watts.. Soo totaling out to 1200 watts give or take if I have the amp gains all the way up.. But that's pushing me to 100 amps... Am I safe at all with that? I have the v6 tow package if it means anything. And what route should I take to help it out..

look at your alternator and find out what the specs are. Im not sure but i believe you run around 160 amps. But i could be wrong though...

I believe the alternator that comes with the tow package is rated at 130 amps.
Concerning safety, I don't think a 900W amp is safe for your hearing.

with a home amp you get rms watts in the car you get true watts......so it draws quite a bit of current

The route you should take is to prevent your truck from burning up. Watts/Volts=Amps so for your amplifier 900W/12V=75A. Have you installed an adequate circuit breaker? And the required wire size is something like number 10AWG. What size wire are you using?
