    thanks, I wanted a meter that did clamp on DC amps. The cheaper ones don’t have that feature. I do have a drawer full of horrible fright ones I leave around for if I don’t care if I drop or leave it somewhere haha. My favorite meter is a Simpson 260-8, electrical noise can’t hide behind that.

    That’s what I like about your meter, clamp on with Hall effect sensor that can do DC! Oh man, I loved the old Simpson 260s the electrical shop at the place I worked still has some . Great for loading down stray induced voltage, the new high impedence DMMs will show a stray induced voltage on a cable wire at 10 to 20V, check it with a 260 and it will drop to zero :p
