The wiring harness was recently plugged back in to components. The first time engine cranked over there was a spark that came from somewhere near the alternator. I have pwr to the instrument panel, headlights and blinkers work, ignition, fuses o.k., but the fuel pump does not come on and the OBD can't link. Anyone have some ideas what the issue is? I have very little knowledge when it comes to electrical beyond the battery, alternator and fuses. And I know the ECU is a vital component to the vehicle. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. There was no smoke or smell of burning wires just a spark, I have examined the wiring in the general area and plugs.
