Recently I was in a fender bender that broke my rear right taillight. I ordered an OEM replacement for it (I did drive a few days waiting for delivery) and when I got the light I installed it and it worked fine for a day or two. Now only my turn signal works but its doing the rapid flash thing and I'm only getting .06 amps to the lamp. All my other lights are good and I've made sure the relays and fuses are fine. Its not the bulb since its brand new. I plugged the left light in and it worked the same are the other one. I've also cleaned my ground points but made no difference. Could this be an issue with my wiring harness or something???

03 double cab TRD Off road if it makes a difference

Hyperflash telling u tht no power to bulb or bulb burnt out (not the case per your statement)

    take lamp off
Inspect the lamp harness all the way through the bed tail lamp pocket
    Internet guess is wire(s) pinched

The Green/Yellow wire is the power wire for the Passenger Turn Signal.
    The White/Black is Ground.

You will have 2 White/Black wires on the Passenger side.
One comes from the Left tail light. It will not have a ground with the Right side unplugged.
You'll be check Pin #1 for power, and #3 for Ground.

You can't use amps to check the circuit.
You need to set the meter to DC V.

Better yet, I'd use a test light. If you have one?

Ok, so I changed the meter reading to DC V and I'm still only getting 2.8v to the right side taillight along with my right licence plate light. The left side license plate light is just fine along with the left taillight. Im going to take the harness out and look for damage to wires.

I had a Jeep that had some bugaboo electrical issues that were proving difficult to chase down the cause.
I have since learned from old-school mechanic friend that you can have good power to something (light, fuel pump, whatever device...) all day long. It means absolutely NOTHING if you have a missing or poor ground connection. No ground, no flow of current.

If it were in a crash, I would say you might have damage wire on power or ground wire. Insect your light assemblies. If all is good there work back towards the battery, inspecting the wires along the way. Especially in the are of impact and locations where the wiring harness crosses frame. Those could have been pinch points that possibly cut a ground or maybe nicked insulation on a power wire making it ground out before power gets to the tail light assembly.

That is where I would start. Visual inspection to see if anything was cut/damaged/broken jumping out at you as not right.

I'd be checking the bulb socket. If the tail light got broke & it was attached, there a good chance the socket was damaged or somehow has a poor connection now.
