So I tried wiring up my Baja S8 backlight to run when in DRL AND with Headlights on by using a wiring diagram found on TW. I messed up the first time by installing a diode the wrong way, then corrected the issue, but the backlights wouldn't work in headlight mode.

After the issue I started noticing some things. My dome lights weren't working anymore, my DRL's weren't on while the headlights weren't on, and my little LED's that are on the switches down by the wireless charge pad (I have a light bar switch in one of the blank spots with an add a fuse) weren't lighting up when the headlights were on.

Then yesterday I noticed my license plate taillights weren't working, and a coworker called to tell me as I was leaving him that my taillights weren't working.

SO. In an effort not to get pulled over I stopped in parking lot and started pulling fuses and checking them. I had blown the "E" fuse on my add a fuse. So I replaced that. It instantly blew again.

I had blown the dome light fuse. I replaced that, it didn't work.

I replaced the "Tail" fuse and it didn't work.

At this point I was out of 7.5 fuses and my E fuses kept blowing, so again, in an effort to just get it fixed so I could get where I was going, I put a 5a fuse where a 7.5 should go in the tail lights...they began working along with my license plate lights, I put a 5a where my E fuse goes and my panel lights started working. I put a 10 where the dome lights fuse was and they started working (although now they just stay on)

Now my DRL's work in headlight mode, as well as my Baja S8 backlight mode.

So, knowing I have a couple wrong fuses in their spots, I am assuming I have shorted something out and I have a bigger issue on hand. I am out of town now, hence they roadside fix, but I need to finish my trip today. am I in any danger of making the problem worse running a 10 where a 7.5 should be for the dome light, and a 5 in the E spot?

Sorry for the long post, just trying to get as much info out there as possible.

I would undo everything you did and go from there. You may be making a trip to the dealership, sounds like more damage than blown fuses.
