electrical mess

    i got a junction box, and it isnt that. identifix is bent on U0140 being the BCM. io also note my driver window always works. ignition off and just the driver window from the master switch. odd.erasing the BCM codes i get B1244 light sensor circuit.

    Just a Snug Top with Sportsman’s package 1 inch lift and 265/75-16 Duratracs.
    Sometimes when I look for impossible shorts that keep nuking fuses I just remove the fuse and put a small incandescent bulb in its place. Use something that’s low draw so it doesn’t get super hot and melt onto anything it’s touching. It’ll require a little bit of DIYing, I typically solder some wires onto the bulb and also add some solder to the stripped ends of the wires so they are stiff and can’t have little strands sticking out. Then I start unplugging things or wiggling wires until the light turns off or flickers. The other thing you can do while the bulb is illuminated is use an inductive clamp to try and find what circuit/wire the current flow goes down and trace that wire out.
