The "HV" Hybrid Vehicle Battery is 288 volts. It's the bigger sealed battery, its on the right side.

The 12v battery is 12 volts. All hybrids have 2 batteries. The 12v system runs accessories and enables the hybrid system, which takes over once started. It's on the left side.

 

This 100%, no one asked for a paper thin tailgate that goes up on its own and down, or suspension seats, etc. I remember buying my 2015 new and my roommate at the time being like why (since it seemed archaic at the time feature wise)? Because simple, reliable, just what I need and not what I dont.

 

Stumbled upon this today. The irony is I was researching how to swap a column shifter for the console version in a F150 since I can’t get it in the trim I want, which is surprisingly easy in such a complex truck.

Spoiler alert, simple, tough, does not break. Toyota makes them! Unfortunately not here.
