Changed to new battery. New alternator put on. Starter checked. After vehicle sits for 3 days or more will not start have to boost. Cold weather a problem also

Sounds like you have a parasitic drain, sometimes those are easy to track down other times they can be really challenging to find.

First off you need to verify the battery is good and the alternator is charging properly (test them or have them tested, just because they are new doesn't necessarily mean they are good).

Second if you have any aftermarket accessories (alarm/remote start, dash cam, radio, etc) those can be suspect.

Beyond that it's gona take some testing to find the cause, if your confident in using multimeters we can probably help you otherwise your probably better off taking it to a shop that is good with electrical diag & repair.

Been at dealer three times. They cannot recreate the inability to crank. They saw battery and alternator are both good. Just had alternator replaced about a month ago. If the truck sits over 3 days or so that is when it will not crank. Still at dealer waiting to see if it cranks tomorrow after sitting for 3 days. They were cranking it everyday even after I had told them it had to sit.

A $20 multimeter will allow you to sort out lots of electrical issues in your home and vehicle. Pretty essential equipment in a toolbox. Most basic place to start, you can do resting voltage checks every morning. Battery should remain at 12.5V +. You could do this with the battery negative lead off as well for comparison.

Especially in this day and age with everything we own is electrified.

As mentioned before, are there any aftermarket electrical additions? Stereo, car alarm, etc. These are often culprits.

I'd lean towards an independent shop to hunt down the parasite draw.

Dealers are set up to do the quickest repairs. An electrical issue is not something they are going to put their best techs on.

Do you have basic automotive "skills?" Are you interested in learning how to look for parasitic draw? Basic eval is pretty straight forward but you need a simple meter to start with.
