I didn't have to quit, but I wanted to. I was a smoker for 20 years myself. I've attempted quitting in the past (patches/gum) and smoked while using them. They gave me nicotine, but did not curb my appetite to pick up a cigarette and smoke.

After reading this thread, I ordered and nice variable voltage and a pack of standard (3ohm) cartomizers, and some sample juices.

Within 4 days of getting it all set up, I had no interest in smoking anymore. I still can't believe how easy it was to quit smoking cigarettes.

    You're going to Love vaping!

This thread FTMFW, Kris. It's really helped. I even repped you for it a few weeks ago I think! I now have a eVIC and an Innokin SVD so I let a buddy take my e-GO and EVOD for a trial run. He's been vaping with me at work instead of smoking his analog when we go outside for a session. I think he's ready to make the switch. It's nice to be able to vape when driving as well.

I'm going to have to think of some Tacoma/Vape porn. Maybe remove my shifter and replace it with a Tesla mod? Hot chicks all over the hood vaping together? :D

For sure man I did actually notice that Rep thanks man!!

But yeah that's awesome for sure I love going on a smoke break and coming back in the office and me not reeking like cigs its great. And also driving with it is perfect 1 it doesn't smell 2 no chance of burning your interior and 3 you don't have to roll the windows down when its cold or rain/snowy you can just puff away!

haha that would be sick tho replace the shift knob with a MOD! I believe I saw on some pages before that someone make a holder out of wood that fit perfect in his cup holder with a hole in the middle to hold his cig right side up.. pretty dope if you ask me!!

I joined the club. I just returned from a pretty nice shop called AltSmoke here in cincy with two Ego twist, one pro tank, three T3 tanks, peppermint patty, cherry, cherry tabacco, tangerine twist liquids, two USB chargers, one wall charger and a volt carrying case for $150.

I can already feel that I don't have the urge to light up a lung dart. :)

Thanks again for all of the info in this thread, it really did help.

 That's a bummer. Shit is awesome. I'm super tempted to mix it with a little of the banana, see if I can get a pina colada going in my vape. Have you tried the blueberry frost at electricstix? Since were on the topic I might as well say that it's probably my favorite flavor out there.

Maybe the heat of sitting in my mailbox affected them.
    Black clove not a fan.
Sour yum & lemon drop tasted off.
Hot chocolate was the best of the bunch but not as good as chocolate brownie.
Bourbon maybe it's because I haven't had any in over 30 years but it tasted odd.
Ecto cooler tasted like it had soap in it.

Yeah - I'd agree with most of that. I personally liked Sour Yum, but I'm going to get some non-candy non-fruity liquids and see how I like those.

    Whats up fellow vapers..

Here is what set-up I'm rocking today at work. With some Unicorn Blood on drip.

My other daily is a e-Go CE-5 with a Kager T3 Tank. I just ordered a Sentinel Clone that I will match with Smok Tech RSST or Pro Tank when I dont drip.

Well I'm finally getting an APV. I won a Vamo V3 kit from Ecigfrenzy. I've been dying to get an APV since I joined ECF and found out there was so much better than the ego kit the wife & I split to stop smoking with. I've been entering all the contests (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/105214-contests.html) I could with hopes of an upgrade and I finally won one.
Thanks again John & all the folks at Ecigfrenzy.

Someone at my work uses e-cig and likes it a lot..I haven't considered using one before but I may at some point. I quit cold turkey for almost a year but started again, and since I've tried to quit multiple times and the longest I've gone without is about a month or so. Right now I'm trying to go cold again and it's going pretty good..if I really feel I need to smoke so bad I may try one of these again, but I hear the good ones are pretty expensive..what would you guys say is the average price for a decent e-cig?

Yanno, I had a close to 200+ dollar rig with my provari and z atty pro but to be honest it really isn't any better quality than my itaste from innokin. I use mine everywhere. I just did an upgrade on my tank and love it. I'd say honestly that you can pick up a really killer rig for under a hundred. If you've never vaped before try picking up an ego twist or a volcano inferno. Those are both really solid starter kits for a decent price.

I second the ego twist as a starter. That is what i picked up for my first and it performs very well.

x3. Got a couple ego twists to start and never looked back. Got a bunch more stuff after that but looking back would not change a thing. My ego twists have taken an important place as my go-to device when I'm out and about. I've dropped them and abused them but the still keep ticking.

So I've heard in a number of articles that different juices are better suited for different devices. I mentioned before how different it was vaping Cinnamon Red Hot in a tank vs. dripping. Well I went back and threw some Ecto Cooler in my dripper and voila, it tasted a lot better! Still not sure if it's my cup of tea but the taste was hugely improved.
