What I found on them, and on the EVod bcc you have got to keep your gaskets and threads clean of fluid. Every time you fill up, rinse your tip and at least wipe out your threads with a wet paper towel twisted to the shape. Do this especially if you like sweet flavored fluid. Tends to bind up the threads and let the seals tear.

If these are the disposable be careful not to drop them or take in your jeans pocket. They develop hairline cracks near the bottom and leak easily.

I recommend the EVod BCC. Pyrex and aluminum it holds a shape well, and the consumables are cheaper (5 for $12). Don't drop it though, the tip is glass and will shatter, ask me how I know.

I don't believe these are pyrex, I've had two get turn foggy and start leaking on me from high caliber flamethrower. It did the same to my vivi-nova but not my Protank. If you want pyrex in this style you'll have to go with the mini protank or mini davide glassomizer

But these are amazing tanks. I use the protank coil in them for better airflow but I've had 7 of them, broke a couple and now I'm down to 4. I really like the protank and the protank 2. I got 4 protanks, sold two of them and bought two protank 2's when they came out. I like the draw on the regular protank better but the cleaning is so much easier on the protank 2.

They aren't made of pyrex. Last time I checked they are made from derlin which definitely explains the hazy/foggyness since derlin is a pretty soft. I know that menthol can crack polycarb tanks from experience unfortunately. :(

Most semi-crystaline tanks are fragile all around which is why a lot of people are using pyrex from my understanding. Pyrex has a much lower stress/expansion factor. I don't know a whole lot on it. But maybe someone can expand on that. Regardless I love the Protank 2. I was having a lot of issues with it at first. (bad clearos) But now it's up and running clean pulls all day!

You mean bad Atomizers, correct? I thought a clearomizer was an atomizer and tank combined into one unit (disposable).

How long do your atomizers work? I've had my Protank for about 2 weeks and I've already gone through 2 atomizers. I just bought a box of 50 from DiscountVapers.com (very fast shipping by the way. I ordered on Friday and received them on Monday from the East Coast to San Diego).

They are not Pyrex as stated above. They are re badged vivi novas. The price should tell you that. From my experience and plenty of others. Vivi novas suck. I mean the local shops can't give the stuff away. Both my protanks are awesome both the v1 and v2. If you want to try something different then a protank then I suggest a Pyrex DCT carto tank.

You shouldnt be going through atomizers that fast. What ohms are you using? And what mod? At the least one should last 3 weeks.

I have 2.5ohm atomizers with the battery set at 3.8v (Vision adjustable battery).

That's crazy then.. what juice? Mixture? Are you vaping hard all day? When you place a new atomized in are allowing the wick to soak before you start vaping?

I have a coffee/bananna flavored juice that's 50/50. I did mix in some VG with it to try a mix about 75VG/25PG. I do vape a lot. I do allow it to sit before I vape.

Protanks are very sensitive with lean mixtures so that may be your problem. Anything over 65/35 and they start to act up like by leaking and burning up fast. That may be your issue. Try going to a carto tank.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say lean. Is 50/50 lean or is pure VG lean? If I understand you, 50/50 would be fine but 75VG/25PG would be too much VG?

I'm on my phone right now so its a little hard for me to find it but look a couple pages back. There is a link to the explanation of mixtures. I may be a little off also but there is good info.

This! I'm hooked and a nice glass carto tanks looks so damn good. I may shell out some cash for the 505 glass tank.

Technically it is an atty. Correct. I have been up at work since 5 this morning. (I have no excuses. I wasn't thinking.)

I will 3rd this. As someone who likes as little fuss as possible I was hardcore cartos and tanks. I still am. Just trying to be more.... adventurous one could say.

I'm the same way... I'm carto all the way yet I still love trying other stuff out. I'm patiently waiting on my trident clone and I'm going to take an adventure into the world of rebuildable tank addys. SmokTech RSST and the genesis clone.
