Gotta agree. I've already started getting rid of all but a couple Protanks and Evods. They will go to my personal vape museum.

Dripping has been an OK experience. Good flavor, a bit more hassle.

Cartos have been great - have the taste of a dripper with the convenience of a clearomizer.

Now I'm about to screw around with a Genesis clone and see what all that fuss is about.

I have 3 mods ordered from Fasttech and shipped:
    1427800
    1438500 Chi-You clone
    1429501

Also ordered a couple of fuses and a couple of kicks for the mods

I gave away my last Ego battery and charging gear to a friend so they could try to quit smoking. Hopefully I'll have good luck with the mods and never look back. Those days with my Ego were fond ones

I have 5 T3s (each with a different flavor) & the wife has 1. No problems with any of them.
Try repositioning the 2 flavor wicks on top of the coil wick.
You can replace just the coil/wick assembly for about $2.

Started from the ego now we here..

I did the same and gave my eGo to one of my employes to help him quit. I do like dripping but it is a hassle. I have heard very good things about the Chi-Chi Clone. let us know how you like it.

So what's the preferred Carto? Do they use the same batteries as the protank? I'd like to try one.

The batteries would be irrelevant in this question, because either the carto or the Protank will still be fired from the same device. The difference is the fact that the Protank is an atomizer that is in a tank. The cartos we've been talking about are a cartomizer in a tank. A cartomizer is a poly-filled tube which contains the heating coil. Since the coil rests higher in the carto than the Protank (which is a Bottom Coil Cartomizer) and the vape travels through poly-fill soaked in juice, the flavors tend to be much warmer and stronger. They are not the end-all as some flavors may actually taste better in the Protank but we have been having some good luck with them. I'm still keeping my Protanks and Evods but I tend not to use them any more.

Try the Pyrex DCT tank. It's like $6 each at FastTech and will give you a nice introduction into that world. One of the guys on the thread raves about his Phiniac tank + Boge cartos but that is a much steeper entry fee. Hope that helps :)

There are so many cartos to chose from. Now some of the cartos should only be used with a mechanical mod or AVP.
Just be careful on which one you choose. I use the 1.0ohm which maybe too low for some users (eGo no way). There are 1.5ohm and 3ohm options.

I bought a DCT tank and some cartomizers (1.5ohm) from Fasttech to give it a try. I also picked up some Mt. Baker eLiquids (Hazlenut, Thug Juice and the Toasted Marshmallow).

    Why not lol free money.
    Nice...

I think Mt. Baker Vapor should be a TW sponsor. That Thug Juice is a hell of a Menthol Rush!!! been on it all day.

I've never been a menthol fan, but gave Thug Juice a try anyway. The flavor is good, but the cooling action, well, I just don't like it. I'd buy it if I could get it without the menthol.

Also, I just got done trying Butterscotch, Caramel Apple, and Cinnamon Roll from Mt Baker.

The Butterscotch smells amazing, and has a good flavor, but will have to vape it a bit more to decide. The rest of the flavors will go into my failed flavor bin.

After about 20 flavors I have tried from different companies, the only 2 that I love are Dew Des Mtn, and Grey Matter from Mr-E-Liquids.

I like a strong menthol flavor. I used to smoke with a Halls mentho-lyptus in my mouth. Hahaha.

    Oh snap! Haha..

I would compare it to Camel Menthol Silver Crush. Crush that little ball in the filter and that was a massive menthol hit. When you smoke it out of a Carto it warms it up a bit and it's just like hitting a analog.
