john, its an uphill battle, but you seem to be doing pretty damn good. if anything, just ween yourself to a 0mg or even 3mg. my buddy relapsed to smoking cigs after he weened himself off ecigs. boredom at work got to him and he had nothing for his oral fixation.

 

Yeah, I charged it fully. I just wondered if anyone else had problems with it. Could be just a bad battery, maybe? thanks for the link. Think I'll just buy a couple to have as back-ups!

 

theyre cheap chinese kits and are overpriced at smoke shops. you have to expect for some to be faulty. i got 2 batteries lying around if 1 goes out. id buy the 4 pack and just have them stashed.

 

I dropped 2 of the EGO-C Twist's on my shop floor and broke them beyond repair. Thats why i got the Bolt. It's heavy duty with actual batteries i can take out and charge. It's not variable, to do that you need to play with different battery configurations. I like it, it suits me fine. I agree with you Greg on the oral fixation part, after this many years the act of smoking itself has become more of an addiction than anything else.

 

I mostly use my box mod with a 5V regulator these days. I also make my own titanium tips

CR123 cells cause that's what I use in my flashlights, and give more room for the tank or a small bottle of juice.

Kanger plastics can handle what a lot of other plastics can't.
The tank destroyer list from Mt Baker. Juices that their customers have reported problems with. http://www.mtbakervapor.net/e-juice-that-may-break-a-plastic-tank/ If you look below the list a lot of people (myself included) have reported no problems with some of the juices in Kangers.
Absinthe, Hawk Sauce, Ocean breeze, Root Beer & Thug Juice have worked fine for me in T3s.

 

I take it you'd recommend the vamo then? Local shop had a V5 but they were sold out.
They also wanted $80 or so and if I remember right, I think you can get them from fasttech for about $50?

Any other recommendations for "best VV"?

 

My ProVari was the first thing I bought (thanks to recommendations on here), and to this date, I love everything about it. It's pricy, but perfect in every way for me.

I'm not saying it's the best VV/VW, but I like it.
The only other VV I have is a 900mah Spinner (ego type).
Lots of good VV/VW mods out there.

20 year smoker here (about 1.5 packs per day), and I just picked up a 1300 vv starter kit on Friday with 18 mg nicotine. I had planned to just cut back on cigs for awhile, but I haven't smoked since Friday evening around 7:00.

I must say I've been puffing the hell out of the vapor (refilling my tank several times daily) and grabbing for my lighter and pack routinely, but this just might be the best money I've ever spent if I can hang on...

Shit, I have never even heard of these things or seen anyone using them before checking out this thread! Interesting and affordable, I think I'll order some. If I don't like it whatever, with shipping a unit + e-juice can't be more than $50. Thanks to thise who posted links.
Question: I smoke occationally and that leaves a pretty nasty after taste. Does vaping have any after taste?
