I went to wizard labs and have everything I need minus nicotine in my cart ready to go.

    250ml of pg
    125ml of vg ( i like 70/30)

10 different syringes (2 of each size offered)
5 30ml brown glass bottle with droppers

I have gloves and clean areas to work in. But I am at a loss on the nicotine. Everything I have read and watched shows people using 100mg of nicotine
I vape currently at 9mg and will be continuing to drop in the coming months down to no nicotine. What do I order. From what I have gathered the amounts of ingredients will net me around 50 or so bottles before I run out of something.

I also am ordering flavorings from them as well just haven't decided on what yet

Get the 100mg/ml nicotine. That's what I use. 2ml of it in a 30ml mix will yield right about 6.5mg/ml strength which is what I vape, so you would need right around 2.9ml per 30oz bottle. It's all about percentages of how much juice you're making. I always put my flavorings and nicotine in first, then just add my pg/vg mix and fill up the rest of the bottle. Saves from having to measure exact volume of vg/pg and I just premix it in a separate bottle with no nicotine/flavoring in it.

What size Bottle would you recommend small bottle to start with? The 125ml? That will yield me about 30 30 ml bottles of my ejuice calculator. Plus I will be hopefully in the next few months drop to zero so don't want to order too much and it go to waste.

125ml is plenty, once you know what you're doing. In the beginning, you'll make mistakes and do all sorts of test batches and go through your nicotine much quicker. Keep that in mind.

I keep telling myself I want to drop to zero, but it's been a year and I haven't done it. Every time I make a new flavor, I vape it at zero before I add nicotine. There's just something about the nicotine that truly changes the flavor (for the better, IMO) especially after it steeps in. Maybe the oxidation of it or something.

Just saw you're already 100% vg

Well I do know that once cotton is burnt it will always taste horrible

So before I dive into making my own juice I wanted to get some flavor inspiration so I ordered up some mt. baker vapor today. Should be here in the next few days. Ordered peach, orange dream and energy x I think.

The question here is what are your settings on your MVP? It's most likely burning your cotton because of high settings, or there's a short causing an arc which will superheat one tiny spot of cotton and taste like ass. Make sure your coil is well clear of all metal except the posts, and that the wire is securely clamped snug by the screws. 12mg on a dripper can definitely give some good throat hit even at 100% PG. I used to vape 24mg in eGos, had to move to 12mg on my first RBA, and now all I do is drip and I can't go higher than 6mg or I get too much throat it, too.

Set your MVP to 4.0v and set your wattage to 6. With a clean coil and no cotton, fire it with the cap off and make sure you're getting an even firing of the coil (heating up from the center towards the posts) and that it isn't heating up so much that it glows like a light bulb. It should be orange hot but not glowing too much or you'll burn cotton. Also make sure to keep your cotton moist at all times, as one dry hit especially on 28 or 30 gauge wire can quickly scorch coil.

If you like your RDA, consider moving to a thicker wire (26 gauge, preferably 24 gauge) and use a mechanical mod so you can go sub-ohm. Those thicker gauges heat up more evenly but they won't fire on your MVP once you go below .8 ohms.

Organic cotton only. You don't want to vape pesticides. Preferably if you can find it, get the organic cotton that hasn't been treated with hydrogen peroxide, too. It's tougher to find than the white stuff, but if yours is yellowish then you may have already found the good stuff.

Burnt taste is burnt cotton, or else it's accumulated crud on your coil from running certain ejuices or from running high VG. 28 gauge for me tended to accumulate too much "carmelization" and I was having to change my cotton every single day so I could dry fire my coil and clean off the build-up.

One more thing... are you building microcoils? Those tend to "crud up" much quicker than spaced-out coils, thus a crummy taste pretty quick. This is where the 24 gauge coil wire is awesome because you can spread it out and distribute the coil heat across much more cotton wick, thus boiling more juice and getting better hits while not scorching cotton so quickly.

Charging circuit board tested with success on charging 3 26650's at the same time. Takes a few hours to charge them up, but that's not a problem when I'll have 3 batteries in one device. I will only need to charge it every couple days with heavy vaping, and I will be able to use my phone charger with micro USB, my solar panel when camping, car charger, backup battery pack, etc.

Starting the build this weekend. Already have the box, fire button, charging circuit, battery holders, 510 connector, heavy gauge copper wire, and charging indicator LEDs ready to install. Time to break out the drill press and the epoxy.

So just a review on 4 flavors I received this yesterday by mount Baker vapor. I ordered
peach, orange dream, demon energy. They sent me pastel sours as my freebie. I also ordered 4 iclear 16s to try all the flavors out. At 3.99 a pop you can't go wrong.

Peach= Initial hit is orange peel with a strong peach after taste. Everytime. Not liking that one.

Orange dream bar = EXACTLY what it is. Perfect and very nice.

Demon energy = I can't really tell what I'm tasting it kinda tastes like juicy fruit bubble gum.

Pastel sours = sour patch kids and that's all I can say about that.

Overall I'm pleased with my order as I got 60 ml of juice for 20.00 where I spend almost 20 on 15ml at my local vape shop.
Not to mention I placed my order Tuesday night. It was here Thursday morning. Not bad at all with me being on the opposite coast.
If anyone has any recommended flavors to try from them I'm all ears.

At the place I order my concentrate flavors, there's an "orange creamsicle" that I'm really hoping tastes just like a real one. I think I may need to order some of it and see if my homemade blend tastes like it. Nice thing about mixing at home is that if a flavor is too strong, I can dilute it. Or vice versa. Some flavors are horribly strong and just a couple drops per ounce is plenty.

I did a sour cherry balls flavor recently and literally it was like inhaling over a vinegar bottle that smelled like candied cherries. Tasty flavor, but that acidic hit about made my eyes water. I cut it way down to like 2% and it was still too strong to inhale without coughing. Strawberry, peanut butter, and some caramels are like that, too.

I have done a ton of different energy drink mixes and I like using it as a base. Then I can add cherry or raspberry in small amounts to the mix and come up with flavored red bulls basically. Very versatile flavor.

Just a precautionary the Pastel Sours is not plastic tank friendly. Came home from dinner and the tank that was holding that juice was split in half.

On that note, here's a list of common flavors that are known to crack plastic tanks (due to the acids in them). For you vapers that use boutique juice stores like Mt. Baker Vapor that just throw a few of these flavors together and call it "zombie something" or "wild unicorn" or whatever, know that many of them contain one or more of these:

    • Absinthe
    • Amaretto
    • Apple
    • Apricot
    • Banana
    • Black Licorice
    • Blood Orange
    • Cherry
    • Cinnamon
    • Cola
    • Creme De Menthe
    • Energy Drink
    • Gummy Bear
    • Key Lime
    • Lavender
    • Lemonade
    • Mango
    • Orange
    • Peach
    • Pear
    • Pineapple
    • Raspberry Lemonade
    • Root Beer
    • Sweet & Tart Candy
    • Tangerine

    Triple 26650 mod box update:

Charging board now installed and charging/charged LEDs installed. Button and 510 connector already installed. Just waiting for a small shipment of my battery terminal springs to arrive so I can install them, then it's all ready to solder up and test. Pics to come soon.

It's a monster one hander but I have big hands. Great for around the house, camping, and road trips :p It won't quite fit in my cupholders, but it will fit perfectly in that slot next to the shifter on 2nd gen automatics.

Working on another design that will hold 3 x 18650 batteries and will be slimmer and fit in the hand better and last almost as long (still 2 full days running super sub-ohm). It will be much lighter, too, because it will be plastic with rubberized grip. I just ordered the case for that one and will start measuring for internals when I get it.
